Well it's easy to complain about the NZ health system but if you went to the US, UK, Australia, you would find they are, just as,if not more of a mess that we are, People are stuffing their own health and then expect the doctors to come up with a magic bullet to fix it, More refined foods, too much grog, smoking, bad habits, Then on top of that much sophisticated high tech equipment costing Millions, And when the govt trys to get people to improve their health they rebell. While I sympathise with the old people, self inficted health problems like excess boozing,smoking.
don't get any sympathy from me, |

why not start putting some of the money that goes to all the bludgers and top heavy public service into the Health area.
Then again this is the Labour party we are talking about and not a lot up top with most of them |

do you mean the govt now tells us what to do in our homes re our health
sheesh next itll be close mcdonalds kfc chip shops ..pie shops ohhhhh and ahh what about booze shops sandwich shops cake etc etc good lord no more sport as sport accidents are costing us hugely
no more cars as accidents cost us.. bikes get them outa here dangerous they are. Lets go back to the old days potatoe and cabage with fatty meat?
we all have a brain lets just use them and stop laws encroaching into out lives |

??? Well all I can say is a lot of people are not using theirs brain, Problems is all you guys then moan about paying for it. I'm on Helens payrole, Only ever been over night in Hospital when I was 6yrs had my tonsills out, I don't drink,smoke,watch my health, I've paid my taxes all my life in a few yrs time when I'm in my 80's and need care, All you other sods who have wasted your health will be takening up my hospital beds.
Those who abuse their health by wrong living don't get any sympathy from me.
There was guy up in Auckland smoked most of his life need heart op but died before he could get it, Then his widow complained he should have jumped the queue over more urgent cases. If you do the crime do the time, is the saying.
well if you live wrong then be prepared to face the consequences. Problem is these ones jump the queue over the ones who no fault of their own have problems.
The are NO silver bullets to fix health once it gone.
Accidents including Sports accidents are paid for by ACC. Then everyone moans about ACC.
Sounds like you all want all these things but are not prepared to pay for them. |
