Guys: Challenge GE to produce the Mortgage Contract and go from there!

This way you will find out if you actually have a contract!!

If you don't have one then what are you being held to???

Google MARY CROFT and download her paper on how she deals with the Bankst_ers and other financial robbers.

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
yep

dont go there

any side of GE is awkward and expensive I found.

In my experience - they were dishonest.

I was in for a small loan. They made it easy for me to get the loan, but once hooked... it was an expensive lesson for me.

I wont ever go to GE ever ! not even if my life depended on it.

The reps were gushingly nice before I signed on for a $700 loan, but from then on they were very rude and put pressure on me - for example - my repayments on the loan were $50 a week, but sometimes I would pay $100 because that would cut down my interest on the loan, right? I would always pay more than the $50 a week, and one day I was phoned at work and told by a GE rep that I would incur a further penalty if I paid off my loan early. Their reasoning for that evil move was because if I pay my loan off early they cant drag more interest from me. I paid my loan off from them the next week and lived on beans and bread and hoped that they would come after me for their so called recompense. They never came, because their threats had no foundation in law. I never went back - though they sent me cards and offers through the mail.

dont go there and collectively we will put GE Money out of biz for good.

they are leaches...

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
Yes. I took out a 12 month interest free deal with a furniture shop and told those concerned I would get my own insurance on the product. GE [who handled the shops finance] became sneaky and tried to include an insurance premium on to my account in the third month. It took me another two months, and many phone calls, to get a refund. Don't go near this outfit because my papers were clearly marked that I would get my own insurance.

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
I am just in the process of getting out of GE money the interest is killing my repayments of $200 a month, never seems to be enough. I am in credit and now I cant even use the card as the ATM is not recognising my card. Westpac have a deal at the moment that they will pay off the GE card at 5.9% interest a month this offer is only open till the end of the month. I am about to close the deal with Westpac next week, fingers crossed and all that. I will never use GE money again, they really need to be looked into.

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
O my gosh that is unbelievable! Even worse than being transferred to 7 different people during one call! We have kinda solved our problem with the ostrich solution. We have changed our wages to Kiwi Bank and just transfer enough over to cover our mortgages. They remain the worst business that we have ever dealt with!

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
i wonder if all you folk realize that GE (b--------) are the mortgageee of many of the Blue Chip Loans. They are the most unscrupulous outfit I have ever heard of. Our Government should get off there backsides & start looking into the practises of these thieving parasites. They have threatened so many elderly folk who have been caught up in this Blue Chip incestuous relationship. Issuing PLA notices in spite of court injunctions,& offering "life tenacies" so they can get their greedy filthy hands on the old folks properties when they pass away.I cannot understand why the Judge did not ask GE to produce the "Memorandums of Mortgage". personally I don't believe they have them.I believe they have bundled them up & sold them off to another Financier. If that could be proved then these dear old folk would owe GE nothing.

If you read my blog we had no choice. We signed up with Super Bank and they sold our mortgage to GE. They did not ask us. To date they are the most frustrating, incompetent buch of clowns I have ever dealt with! As soon as our fixed rate comes up for review we are off!!

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
Why did you not lend the money to the kids? The payment is due at the same time each month so what's the problem , i'll tell you. IT IS EASY TO LEND AND HARD TO PAY BACK.

REMEMBER GE NEVER HELD A GUN TO THE KIDS HEAD. STOP COMPLAINING AND PAY!!!!

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
The best thing would be for a International banking system to lend money to people all over the World, on credit cards and loans at a low percentage rate of 6% credit card interest, as long as borrowers make payments and repay loans on time.. If they are late more than 3 times in a year than interest rates would rise to 8 to 10 % percent until credit ratings go back up !.

Re:GE Money Reply to this message
stuartbeaton31, who are you responding to? As far as I can see most of the GE complaints are about poor service. Are you saying that if you apply for a loan it is ok to be given s**t service? Despite asking approx 6 months ago for a figure of my 'technical' and actual arrears I have heard nothing and keep in mind these arrears were not my fault they were GEs because they set the repayments at the wrong amount. Do you work for GE? If so get off the message boards and do something about the appalling service!
