Re:Lotto Reply to this message
Agree, I would like to see it spread out a little more, but I will not complain if I win $24m this weekend.

Would firstly buy a car that gets over the Napier-Taupo road without overheating, then go to a luxury resort hotel with everying on tap to think!

Re:Lotto Reply to this message
i really find lotto depressing!!
i would love to win the money, i would be happy enough with a couple of million instead of the ridiculous amount thats up for grabs these days... altho i would never complain if i did have the whole lot, who would? but i hate the way i cant afford to take the risk, is the cheapest way to have powerball on ya ticket the $13 combo?? gambling sux like that, ya cant afford to lose but it would be fantastic if ya won.. go figure irony

Re:Lotto Reply to this message
Lotto feeds that dream we all have....when someone else wins it we all get a little envious...but life goes on and soon another chance at the dream comes along...and we're all back in there again, dreamimg...keep it in perspective and think positive, one day you just might be the one in the right place at the right time..

Re:Lotto Reply to this message
I think it is rigged. When it first began we used to average a small win about every six weeks. Then we stopped getting anything any more.

Re:Lotto Reply to this message
Note of interest, not many people realise that if they want to "share" the win with family that any gifts you give are liable for gift duty (tax). They can take upto 25% of what you give away over $75,000. So if I give $1Mil to Mum, $1Mil to Bro, $1Mil to Sis and $1Mil to Gran I'll have to give $1Mil to tax man.
