Your statement reeks of bias. If this were a labour MP a year ago we would never have heard the end of it. How many private companies pay for staff members partners to go overseas conferences. Bugger all - espescially in the current climate. The MP's need to learn that they also have to tighten their belts. It's all very well to start sacking the staff of govt. departments to decrease costs but to spend $25,000 on taking Rod's partner on a two week trip is gross wastage. |

At least Carter after seeing his expenses from the last quarter has made an effort to rein in his expenses. |

How do you know Rodney's partner doesn't have a state funded job??
Secondly, Chris Carter has clearly taken the criticism on board in the latest mp expenses breakdown. He has spent a fraction of what he did last time and has publicly come out and said he won't be taking his partner anymore. Rodney has said he will keep routing the system. He's a hypocrite. |
