I would agree...the one thing they aren't mentioning is the frequencies emitted from the cell-phone disrupt concentration in humans...that is the real reason.

Its not that you need 2 hands to drive a car, many people who are amputees drive & so they should. One thing you do need is your brain & looking away from the road to text or dial No's or to chat just shows that that is probably missing. Ive never been crashed into cos someone was smoking or eating but I have seen many near misses because of cell phones. After all whats the hurry, you can make the call at anytime, just about everyone has their phone with them.

lack of concentration is the cause of many accidents .. using a handsfree kit is no safer than holding the phone in your hand .. you are still focussing on the call

yea whatever but what I don't get is Police are exempt from this law.So by virtue of their office they can't get distracted yea right.

What was written on the barn door ?
