i think that as we have maori elections and maori mps like hone and that so the pakehas should have their own to look after their intrests like culture,customary rights,and health and that kind of stuff.
if we seperate them and us then we can have 50-50 split on the costs of stuff,like health care for one thing if maoris have our own hospital and its got staff who are maori then it would give our people jobs and the sick maori would be looked after properly using our own money,pakeha would have the same.the same would apply to schools,doctors,dentists and all of the other health and education departments.
this will show that maori can look after our own people and will make pakeha races see they can no longer live off the sweat of maori |

| How do we have a 50/50 split on costs when Maori have 18% of the population contributing in tax,and that's if 100% of them were working. Yeah right. Who then looks after the Indians, Chinese, Samoans ? And how do we determine who is Maori and who is not when we want to direct them to the right hospital ? ha ha ha I get it, it's a joke right. |

"The Government has reached an agreement with the Maori Party which will ensure that legislation setting up an emissions trading scheme (ETS) can be passed by Parliament this week, Climate Change Minister Nick Smith announced today.
None of the other parties support the bill and Dr Smith needed the Maori Party's five votes to enact it.
The Maori Party negotiated with the Government on behalf of iwi, and details are about to be released at a press conference also attended by Prime Minister John Key and Maori Party co-leader Pita Sharples.
The ETS is a modified version of the one passed by the previous government before last year's election.
Dr Smith said the agreement with the Maori Party included inserting a Treaty of Waitangi clause in the bill, insulating a further 8000 homes occupied by low income families and protecting the integrity of previous treaty settlement"

| shmeads. The Maori Party only negotiated with the government on behalf of a very high ranking few and only for specific iwi. You know as well as I that this is going to mean trouble inside Maoridom - not for much longer are the decent maori at the bottom of the heap going to quietly sit by and watch the fat cats talk about trickle down - watch them make a change in 2011 |
