| You have to be joking. After what she's done to our defence forces? The United Nations doesn't need a Pacifist, unless of course one wants to becomes a disciple of Osama Bin Laden. And to all those would be sponsers out there, don't give NZ First or Labour any money - you will be treated with contempt and/or disdain. |

xtr102048 Is this a parody post?
The Labour Party has appointed an AVALANCHE of deadwood cronies in the last term to Quangos, perhaps sensing their imminent and long overdue demise.
As for the democratic process, they have presided over the passing of the EFA, which has been condemned by both sides of the political spectrum, and has, in the words of Dr Catt, the CEO of the Electoral Commission "a chilling effect on democracy" in NZ.
The "Brethern" (sic) broke no laws of any kind in the last campaign cycle. So sorry, your strawman argument holds no water. And your "rumours" have as much relevance as a few "rumours" that could be dished out about other political figures.
Have a nice day. |

With economic uncertainty prevailing it is perhaps better
to stick woth the tried and true ie. the devil you know than the devil you dont know. Lets go beck and see what life was like under the previous National Givt 1990-1999 |

| no thanks wayne, with rising global interest rates and an uncertain global economy, the last thing we should do is borrow. of course business dont care, the paye people will bear the brunt of paying it back for years to come. |

| You have to be kidding jj. I sold a business a little while ago and one of the best things about it is I no longer need to look at my tax account and see six figure amounts ear marked for labour to play with. The business owners prop up this country and get nothing but grief for it. |

Countries have to borrow just as individuals have to borrow to buy a house and business has to borrow to expand otherwise nothing would progress
This proposition that you dont borrow is scarecly worth commenting on as it is so wide of the mark that its virtually under the radar
Its not the borrowing that creates problems its what the borrowing is for is it borrowing for borrowing sake or is it for the benefit of our country ie infrastructure |

What is more important is the low level bottom feeding tactics Labour are employing to try and stay in power.
Imagine the out rage from this Blog if we had young Nats exercising their democratic freedom with signs like BUTCH or CHILDLESS everywhere Helen Clark went.
These Tactics will backfire on Labour as the Public want an Election fought on Policies and Principles not personality smears.
If you want to go down the Slippery Route did you hear Cristine Rankin on One ZB this morning . This interview could not have been better for an Incoming National Government.
Saying she had always supported Labour until this Government came in which is a Lesbian Women’s Government with its own agenda.
It has stuffed New Zealand over a nine year period. Our Social agencies are in crisis mode because of their Social Engineering.
She didn’t fit in because she wasn’t the Lesbian Stereotype that Heather Simpson and Helen Clark wanted in Government agencies.
Steve Mahre wasn’t a bad guy but had tremendous pressure put on him by Clark and Simpson to get rid of her.
Her book is out today must buy it should be a great read showing the meddling that is going on in our Government Departments.
Crosby Textor must have planned this interview because it was so damming of this Government the timing was fantastic. It generated so much talk back |

Jeez JJ you just don't get it do you. If Labour's policies which are in the main anti employer continue then all the employers might decide that actually being in business is too hard (I have those thoughts every month as I fill in my ACC, PAYE, GST returns) and give up. Maybe even retire on the Gold Coast - then where will all the employees be? ..... Living in Helen's (and your's apparently) nirvana where all land and businesses are held by the State and distributed as they see fit .. mostly to their friends (So I guess you'll be okay).
Oh thats right ..... Russia, Cambodia and China already tried that. How did the peasants fear that time? How many starved to death because productivity ceased? |

| Hey Vixey .. I thought of Zim as I went back to my dishes - glad you added it. Sadly I think the starvation there is on it's way but has not reached anywhere near the levels that we will see in the months to come. This new power sharing cannot put food on the shelves in the short term. |

| Hey if you dont vote for Helen then you are are voting for the capitalist Key. He played the markets and look where they are today. Are we better off, no way. Its always the rich who make money when things are good and then when it slows the poor have to pay and the rich dont. What are you? Rich or poor. Make your vote count.Vote for both your Labour candidate and the Labour party. Dont split your vote. |

Crossdrain, you're well entitled to your support of Labour and how you will vote, but I do have one question that arises from your post:
Why do you think that Mr Key should have been responsible for making you better off over the last 9 years when Labour have been the Government?
You can not contribute the state of the markets today to Mr Key, it's been 7 years since he was working for Meryll Lynch - a blind man could see that he is not responsible for the collapse of the world economy. |

| currency trading is immoral, produces nothing, employs no one and skims billions off the backs of the real producers of wealth, the working class. its speculative and makes for unstability. it causes devaluation of currencies, so it could be argued, keys and other traders like him have contributed to the world economic crisis. currency trading should be abolished. |
