for those who have said no to helen - why are you saying no? You cant just make a decision based on what you have heard from the media. We all know the media expands the truth.
I think Helen has done pretty good. She has reduced unemployment rates, and done so much more. Sure you can say that she bought in the anti-smacking law, but you would be wrong. She didnt bring it in. Yes, she supported it, but so did John Key and the majority of the National members. Not only that, it is Mr Key who has said that he will take no notice of the referendum if he gets in. Helen hasnt said that. |

Sadly I think world events are going to over take us ... I would have John Key and Bill English guiding NZ through the next few years ahead of anyone. Especially the old hacks who have had 9 years of unprecidented global economic activity where other countries around the world have surged ahead and we have dropped further and further down many indices.
Unionists, professional students (oh that's right .. they graduated into caucus), unemployed useless b@stards, esteemed doctors (of what we ask) have not and will not have the bottle, the nouse or most especially the balls to get this country through the next three years.
I guess you could say in short my answer is an emphatic "NO!!!" |

I trust Helen and Michael with our economy.
I mean I recall that Michael started our Superfund so there would be money for us all to retire on when the time comes. And he very wisely, (I remember him saying this on TV) was making sure that it was invested overseas, because this would be safer than the NZ economy. Such a good and competent economist:)
And of course there is Kiwisaver, we have the choice of any fund we feel like. The safest ones are overseas of course:)
Whats that? Banks are failing in the US and its flowing over to the UK?
But I trust Michael because he says it won't effect the NZ economy very much. And of course our super fund is still safe. Did he say that was guaranteed?
Thank goodness for that, I was going to go down to my bank and change my Kiwisaver fund so its not off shore anymore, but I know Helen will look after it for me. Its guaranteed isn't it? |

Don't be so parsimonious - tell me it would at least take more than $10,000 to buy your vote. To buy mine would take millions I suspect:) |

| xtr and a whole lot of others thinks a shift to the right will be good for the economy. how come the american economy is in a much worse state than ours then. 70,000 a month losing their jobs, etc etc etc. the republicans are more right than the nz national party. shouldnt thier "right wing" policies have averted the crisis they are going through and the possibility they are heading for catastrophe ? |

That should be on a tui billboard somewhere! The only problem, thanks to Labour trying to grab another term of POWER, who gets pinged for the electoral funding element? National as its poking fun against Labour, or Labour as its subliminal vote polling for the PC nanny state commies?
I think a more apt billboard would be "Vote for Helen she'll get us even further up the ranks in the OECD stakes.....yeah right!"
Lets face it, if you are creaming benefits (yes we do know that you are on long term ACC and theres nothing wrong with you) or in a cushy government job spending most of your time on "ahem" sick leave or outside your government office smoking instead of working (yeah we all see you from our office window stood around smoking for half an hour at a time, while we are inside working), of course you are going to vote for these left wing communist bunny hugging idiots.
Just consider this, if you keep taxing the hell out of our workers to pay for this benefit culture and also to fund some of these pointless government agencies, these workers will continue to leave our beautiful country, until the point when Labour ask "Where has all our tax revenue gone?"......what do you think they are going to do to all the government workers and benefits bludgers at this stage? Make the government worker redundant and cut back on benefits......the money has to come from somewhere!!!! I suspect Labour are banking on people not figuring that one out and will continue on their path of corruption and deceit by bribing even more people at the next election......In order for a country to succeed it needs to run like a business and the government are there to act as the board of directors, at the moment the board should all be sacked for gross incompetence! They have had a huge boom economy to take advantage of and all they have succeeded in doing is making us even worse off in the global market!!! Don't trust these idiots for another term, vote for anyone EXCEPT labour! |
