| To all you tall poppy bashers, how many of you who sit here most of the day posting your hate and bigotry, have got off your backsides and created employment. The number of people on here who purport to have their own business that the current government is destroying, what are you doing to improve the economy. For the amount of time you are here I would think you are doing bugger all |

| No for Helen Clarke, primarily the Education Policy that is currently in place and that could possibly continue if not curbed, changed or addressed is not one that I actively support, that is my response...thank you! |

Hey that’s right, people who are not voting for Helen will have an affinity for MaCain, and the urge to follow in the path of these Bush .
We don’t need to be individuals, just follow
It’s all clear now.
Thank you |

| about as clear as mud!!! surely you cannot truly be serious, education is the key, it is going nowhere at the moment, teachers are supposed to teach, they are not involuntary social workers, they do not have the capacity to teach morals and values...( Whose morals...and please interpret Values possibly without reference to finance!!! |

| if the moral corruption of this government is in your view "excellent " . then you must have lowered the bar to beneath our feet . we cannot make a judgment concerning the level of integrity & ability of a party that has not yet been elected ,we can only give them a go .. But we can judge the integrity of a party that has already ruled and the track record they have is dismal. |

I am happy you agree in regards too teaching, that is excellent, however not all that is set out in the current policies concerning the teaching of the children is what you would call "healthy", I beg to differ in regards too this...
Helen represents the muddled state system you describe. |

| The messages that are coming through in voicing their concerns about Helen Clark have had a lot of thought put into them. They have clearly shown that the values of New Zealand have dropped in the last 9 years and also highlighted the imposing state control that has surfaced. The issue that has also concerned me is the rise of crime, illicit drugs and just about every anti social activity you can think of. I concede that with the Greens as one of your allies, the fight against drugs would be difficult(in our town we had Nandor wanting to come to colleges to talk about legalisation of marijuana). Interestingly Helens nanny state policies appear to have permeated all areas including judiciary, police, prisons, prison term committees, Government Departments and yes us as well. THe last 9 years have not only seen kiwis feeling unsafe on the street but also in their homes and cars. The Sensible Sentancing Trust is attacked by this Government and all they are trying to do is stand up for us! Strangely, Helen has turned out like the people that she demonstrated against back in the 60's and 70's (anti Vietnam War etc) where she saw these people as the 'establishment'. Her establishment is far more constrictive, domineering and scary than the one she demonstrated against all those years ago. Go the right. |

| most older ones are interested in politic how this country run and bussiness.the ones who learnt from their mistakes and didn,t repeat them.when a person admits they are wrong. and dosen,t repeat the same mistake people can be forgiving, as we arent all perfect. we all done wrong sometime in our lives, but when some like the helen who goes straight out and makes excuses.to the public. and then repeats the same mistake agian and agian against others, how can we be forgiving , its a lot worse when its agrown adult doing it.and worse still when they are in the power of a country.why should we trust what labour says. |

| xtr and a whole lot of others thinks a shift to the right will be good for the economy. how come the american economy is in a much worse state than ours then. 70,000 a month losing their jobs, etc etc etc. the republicans are more right than the nz national party. shouldnt thier "right wing" policies have averted the crisis they are going through and the possibility they are heading for catastrophe ? |
