| ykato - who is "the smart money"? Listen guys = it's our time, it's our opinion and it's a democracy. Now while we certainly appreciate your comments - because even though they generally are nothing constructive and constantly confuse personality with party politics you do serve a purpose by keeping this thread going - I think it's time you moved on from the Winston blame game - we have. Working on the future - and my future looks pretty good. |

i supported the maori party with everything except my vote
i may have done so for nz 1st .. but they wouldn't get rid of winnie ..
but then they probably couldnt .. he was like cold dried tar on the bottom of a shoe ..difficult to scratch off |

However the question was not "What is smart money" - the question was "Who is the smart money" - possibly a too subtle way of asking you who is it that thinks they know what is going on inside the New Zealand First Party without actually being a member. I am assuming you are talking about some self appointed expert whose opinion is that Winston and New Zealand First are a done deal. We shall see, we shall see..... |

| ykato4ever - I think you will find that what deedee was projecting was quiet confidence. Ofcourse we were disappointed but sometimes people don't know what they've got until it's gone. Lets see how those who benefited from New Zealand First's middle of the road policies feel in 2011 after three years of the current administration. |

| Evening all. Drove down the new motorway between Orewa and Warkworth today as we live in Warkworth. Very nice piece of road and done well taking into account the importance of the bush that goes from coast to coast in that particular spot. The last time I shall travel on it however as I am against toll roads here in New Zealand. I support the New Zealand First point of view that if the taxes on petrol had been placed in a dedicated roading account instead of into the general pool we would have the cash to build the roading infrastructure provided without placing a further burden on road users. By the way - who gets the toll money - we the tax payer or is this a PPP and so this money is going to a construction company? Anybody out there know? |

i'm a Greenie supporter from way back when and incase you didnt know, we have now got 9 MPs so nothing to be touchy about that.
i can gladly tell you that NZFirst got my party vote at the last election and will again in 2011 so take that.

| mardale i used the pyes pa toll rd today with a trailor and enjoyed the convenience to the alternative route for the cost of a buck. i've also enjoyed the benefits of wow toll roads in sydney and know that if you want good things be prepared to pay for them and if you have toll rds then always make sure that the free alternative is available. |
