.... like i said in my previous post a_garner, spend a few dollars and ring Winston and talk to him about their policy but if i was their policy maker, ill be abel to help you but im NOT ...
that policy by the way does not affect the migration of the Cook Islands people( being NZ citizens of course) to NZ so i hope that answered your question as i can see your question is in a way asked only because im polynesian ... smiles

i think you should read the comments people have posted in other threads (the same nics and probably never voted or likely to vote for Winston anyway) and tell me who are they likely to vote for ... ;))

oooo and by the way, i have many elderly relatives going to be first time NZFirst voters this time( party votes) and they dont have a tinge of blues rinse ... hehehe
and for your imformation, the term "blue rinse brigade" was coined by someone else in the another thread and i think he was reffering to the Nat supporters but heyyy, each to its own .. smiles

I have never been a Winston supporter but over the last few weeks watching what seems to be incredibly biased reporting, that in my opinion is in response to his terse remarks to certain media reporters I'm going to give him my party vote.
Reading some of the stupid remarks on this thread has helped me in this decision, one of the comments related to the SFO inquiry.....No illegal finding's mean's exactly that, the outcome of that inquiry has to be accepted and I have no doubt that no more would have been said if it had been Labour or National.
Another comment has been posted about last nights coverage on TV3 news, I also watched Winston getting blown off by a local in the South Island, now funny as it was I have to ask myself this question: How many other politicians on the campaign trail have been blown off in the same circumstances with cameras recording more than a few I'd wager, yet that footage wouldnt get past the cutting room floor.
Look John Key's Failure to disclose his share intrests in Rail.....Where was the call for a SFO inquiry...where was the call for a Parliament inquiry... His turnaround on the Maori seats policy....where is the negative impact that surely would have befallen if it was NZ First.
As I said I have never been a Winston supporter but I will be giving him my Party vote this is not because of anything in particular he has done for NZ but in anger of the way he has been hounded,and I think all you detractors out there are in for a shock as I dont think somehow that I'm alone. |
