It's meant to be dubbed the fight of the century. Don't know how that can be though- we're only 9 year into this century.
Anyway, the much awaited fight between these 2.
But I am abit shocked to see how the TAB odds have stacked up. The TAB have put Cameron as the pick underdog.
Now I'm not saying that he's better than tua. But to be blunt and brutally honest, Tua just isn't as good as what he once was. I've watched 82% of his fights over the past 10 years, and he just doesn't have consistancy with each fight. I still say he can box very well, but I think that he will be out classed by cameron on the day. |

I think they may be masing this on a stylistic match-up Lawrence.
Shane is a good, solid regional go forward brawler who always shows up in shape and entertains.
Unfortuantely for him David is a better, international level go forward slugger who not only throws but can take a better punch than Shane.
If you want to beat Tua you have to box - jab and move - for 12 rounds. Shane's style is so drastically different from what he needs to execute that it's a very long shot for him to go 12 rounds without trading with David. Although Shane and his team are undoubtedly training for Shane to box, he showed in the late rounds of the Ahunanya fight that he is unable to stick to a gameplan once he gets tagged.
My prediction - Shane boxes well enough to get through the opening couple of rounds, in the 3rd or 4th he'll get caught with a shot that'll rattle him and her'll revert to what he knows, trade with Tua and get KTFO. |

| what worries me about cameron is that he will have another cut on his face that will be a cause for concern early on in the fight. I think he has the heart and determination, but Tua is such a threat and will ultimately win. But in saying that I hope somehow cameron does win. |

| Tua looks great at the moment, but has yet to fight any real contenders, I hope that he does get a shot at the World Heavyweight and wins.!! I don,t think he was ready for lennox lewis at that time .!!Someone needs to pee him off before the big fight so he comes out all guns blazin like he did with Cameron. :) |

m4 - Not so, the europeans dont think much of Tua, they prefer boxers over KO artists, but he's definately known.
having said that the Klit bros are smart, they know they'll get a similar PPV from germany, Ukraine etc... no matter where the fight is held, so if they ever fought Tua you could very well see a stadium fight in NZ. they try to maximise their return by filling the biggest venue possible, and they'd get a bigger live crowd here than they would in Europe.
I'm not sold on the brothers anyway. Wlad's good, but struggles under pressure and doesn't take being hit very weell at all.
Vitali isn't very fluid these days, while good enough to deal with most of the pretenders out there hasn't been puched in a long time.
Yeah the brothers woud be big favourites over Tua, but he's got a way better shot at them than most of the recent attempts. |

if David can get a fight with either Rahman, Arreola, destroy them both, before the 4th round, should draw some interest than, but how long??untill a title fight, 2-3 yrs,
its now or never, Tua, still contracted via Maori TV, 3 fights at least, that'll be 2 yrs gone, comprahendo????...see what I mean!!! |

Nah it wont be 2-3 years m4, given the state of the division I could see Tua getting a shot very quickly.
And he's having the first MaoriTV fight in December by all accounts, so it's safe to say we're going to see 3 quick fire fights, admittedly they are likely to be against limited opposition.
Forget Rahman, the guy is seriously faded - I heard he needed crutches after his fight against Klit because his knees are so bad. Arreola or Sam Peter are the most exciting fights out there for Tua at the moment.
Peter would try to knock Tua out making for a real slug fest as long as it lasts, and who knows what Arreola would do, probably something similar to what Cameron tried, dont think he could do it for 12 rounds though... |
