hi unclenana! ( memories shared, 2ZB, sunday mornings and the stories) awwww! many favourites unclenana "the selfish giant", " sparky and the talking train", "dianna and the golden apple- Melanion"! "Rindercella" that was a comical play story on words, lOL>> , how about "flick the fire engine"..."Billy goats gruff", so many unclenana! we used to climb into bed, my brother sister and I as littlies with our parents, and listen to them all every sunday, until the broadcast ended, then do it all over again the following weekend! a nice memory! sad but nice anyway!
My late Mum used to listen to Dr Paul, and Partners in Jeopardy ,..wow times have truly changed alright! |

| I watched many of the above and a programme called "Daktari" ?? - this was about a vet in Africa and had Clarence the cross eyed lion in it. Also used to watch a cartoon called Atom Ant and Wyllie Coyote and Road Runner. They should bring these things back - dedicate a whole channel to this type of programming - I'd pay for it. |

No TV in those times, but loved the GOON SHOW on radio, and
also fascinated by my Maori great Aunt, who would pull all sorts of stunts and whakamaoringia you would never see today, with chanting in Maori to the Ruru (Moreporks) to go
away, which they did.
