| Open your eyes, labour have mismanaged this country for the last 8 years and now they are suddenly concerned for its well being, yeah funny that being an electoral year and all! Suddenly "It" i.e. Comrade Helen is so people orientated right now! Sure i agree National are business focused, but if you don't have a strong Business platform you have no jobs, and mass unemployment! which would you prefer? If labour stay, i will join the mass exodus of kiwi's leaving this country expect another 80,000 to go, i will leave the country to the ones that want it the most, The Maori's, The Immigrants and last but not least the criminals! thanks Helen, Thanks Labour vote with your head on election day! vote National for a change for the better! look at what mess labour have gotten us into! John Key has proven himself in the business world, Helen is yet to learn what a business is and how it functions! except its primary reason of feeding her taxes! Down with Labour kick them all out now! |

By now everyone has seen all the billboards and advertising for all parties. Looking at Helen Clark on her billboard, that has to be the most photo shopped picture I've ever seen, and she expects us to think she’s honest. Yeah right!
Another thing. You know that labour are trying to say anything to stay in parliament when they start accusing John Keys of single handedly being responsible for the downfall of Merrill Lynch...HAHA..
Look at the last 9 years that they have been in parliament... They have completely destroyed the education system. (N.C.E.A is the biggest joke ever) Crime rates are disgusting and for the people that do get caught.. They spend next to nothing in jail... and finally all of the lazy people that are allowed to sit on their asses all day doing nothing. While others that work 40+ hours a week have to support them.
As if by now you can’t tell I'm voting NATIONAL. |

| angel_in_the_sky21 you took the words out of my mouth i was just going to mention the photo shopping of her picture after it flashed up on Xtra's website earlier i had to do a double take, the first thing i noticed was she had straight teeth lol, not her usual crooked smile to go along with crooked labour party! photo shop version is how she wants to look, the actual version we see on our TV is reality, maybe she doctored the picture herself, to show off some of those made up artist skills she tried to pass off as hers on Trademe a few years ago where she was caught red handed! "AGAIN" |

| vote a party that waits for labour to bring up a policy and turn round and say "yeah we are going to do that to"?, when they think up a new policy by themselves then I might think about voting for them. Didn't they say they would not change the kiwi saver??? They have broken a promise already and yet they aren't running the country!!!! |

Of course I'm still voting National.
Labour is all smoke and mirrors. They are waving money under voters noses before the election, and will claw back what they can in their "mini-budget" planned for December.
The country cannot afford everything Labour are promising, not with a 10 year deficit on the cards (and they were the ones who forecast it). They are going to have to cut something - or even quite a few things.
Students think this is great now, but by the time it is fully functional in 2012 most of them would have left Uni and wouldn't benefit much anyway. So there's plenty of time for Helen & Co to backtrack on that too.
This is a BRIBE! But some puppets will fall for it and let their strings be pulled to dance to Helen's tune. |

Oh come on dhume - Labour's tax package will probably be the first thing to go. Or it will be "delayed".
If Labour have managed to spend all the surplus in 12 months, how are they going to manage to pay for everything they're promising. Borrowing, borrowing, borrowing??
Even Primary School maths should tell you it can't be done. |

Of course National will have to borrow. They've already said so. And that they will need to trim Kiwisaver to afford the tax cuts.
But at least they've been upfront about it. Given the bad news even if some don't like it.
But Aunty Helen seems to be in denial about the state of the economy - the way she's spending money you'd think she had a bottomless money pit (or maybe Labour are going to"find" another $500 million they overlooked). Doubtful! |

| If you re-elect Labour you wiil expect to have major/chronic price rises due to their excessive tax Emissions Trading Scheme. They were told by several economists that, as draughted, it could generate revenue of approx. $5 Billion - far in excess of what would be reqired to meet our NZ's Kyoto obligations. When the energy minister was confronted with those figures, he replied that the scheme would be reviewed every 5 years. Right, years of extra excessive taxation in the meantime. How do you expect they intend to reduce their recently announced $5.9 Billion deficit & their recent election BRIBES. YOU WILL LEARN MORE ON THIS IN THEIR DECEMBER MINI BUDGET, IF THEY ARE RE-ELECTED. Moreover, the Govt. still they won't meet their financial projections & the economy will be infinitely worse off. Why ?... simply because, that is some $5 Billion in purchasing power sucked out of the economy which relates to more industry closures layoffs etc. causing a lower tax take overall. An absolute recipe for disaster. |
