| We're expanding our vege garden. Actually expanding makes it sound like we already had a functioning vege garden instead of 1 red silver beet plant and 3 cabbages gone to seed! So really we're beginning a vege garden. Also going to try and milk our cow when she has her calf soon. |

| Taking advantage of the cheaper property prices in nsw currently and buying our first home because our rent is only going to go up. So may as well be putting it on our own mortgage. |

bron - have done the same as you. Kept telling every one no need for a veg garden as there are only 2 of us at home. But when brocolli got to $4 that was the decider.
So now we have a fully functioning veg garden and i just have to keep ahead of the foxies who insist on digging out the brocolli and they love eating the stalks. Got a fence around it now. AND my round trip to Gizzy is also about 60km so that trip is done once a week. I use my crockpot more and always do home baking. Have my own chooks and haven't paid for an egg in nearly 2 years apart from the chook food of course |

| I've got out the sewing machine and sewing up the kids summer clothes. The bonus is that I really love to sew - having fun and saving money at the same time. |
