also i didn't put any words anywhere . i just followed the track of reasoning down the path you insinuated by saying you dont beleive in good or evil ..i didn't say that , you did .
what i do know beyond doubt , regardless of any pointless argument or insult you throw my way is that the lord Jesus loves you very much and if you beleive in him and walk in obedience to him as evidence that you believe you will receive the gift of eternal life .. its just simply good news |

we get it, you're a christian, you don't need to keep repeating the good news.
those things in the bible that you say are the actions of normal humans disgust me. they are beyond human, and if by being beyond human that makes them divine, then such a god would be disgraceful in every sense of the word.
i know morality is not absolute and biblical, and so it follows that evolves with our ability to comprehend our fellow man. the more we understand of them, the more we change our ways to be better neighbours to them. the bible can no longer be cited for moral approaches to societal issues |

little evidence of that but if you got some to prove that your theory of evolving morals are improving humanity ..please state..
and yes we've got it too haha .. you don't beleive ,
therefore you don't understand that love will speak for the best possible good of the hearer desiring the hearer to partake of all that is best . to begin with "life , and that everlasting.
due to what i know inwardly to be true and that truth remains unchanged that life and that abundantly is available to any who beleive , my motive for repeating it is love .. im sorry if the concept of love is uncomfortable to you or anyone , this is a sad state for ones life if one is made uncomfortable by that which is considered to be best for all by all . |

why would anyone say atheists can't love. that's like saying christians can't think.
morality, like the evolution of life forms, is dynamic. sometimes it makes sudden advances with new realisations, sometimes it suffers through oppression. morality improves with education, and is stifled by religion. |

where did anyone say you cant love ,,, i said love is my motive for sharing repeatedly that which i beleive is the best news any one can ever receive .. that God loves you so much he sent his word which became flesh and his name is Jesus and he died on your behalf so that if you put your faith in him you can have everlasting life .. this love reaches out to you unceasingly every day of your life ... i said im sorry if hearing it makes you uncomfortable .. perhaps you prefer evil to good ? .. all i know is this is good news .
as for morality improving with education .. education increases knowledge , but the ability to put knowledge into action for the absolute best good of all is called wisdom and wisdom is proven by its fruit .. the fruit of modern education says .... if it feels good do it .. the 60's said if it feels good sleep around .. over the next 15 yrs 200 more s t diseases developed.. marriage break up increased and families became disjointed and fractured leading to solo mothers leading to teens without guides leading to an exponential increase in crime ... education taught if it feels good do it ... so gays pushed for the right of sexual freedom to express themselves as they wish .. now pedophiles are quoted as saying when arrested ...whats wrong with it .. its our right to express ourselves in whatever way we feel free to .. ! where in all this is the improve morality you speak of . where in any part of society is the moral improvement you speak of .. there is knowledge but no wisdom-= the fool says there is no GOd ..and with the saying of it removes the absolute morals of god and this lack of wisdom displays its fruits daily |

AV do you think your topic quest has been satisfied, when do threads go away and die on these MBs?
i'm pretty confident that he was a real man, and wouldn't be surprised if one day we could identify his bloodline in living people (not in a da vinci code way). i'll always be an atheist though. |

Hate to dissapoint all you good loving god folk. But I was with my mother when she died. Not once did she say its ok Jesus and his father are beckoning me. She died slow,long and very painfull death. It pained my soul to sit there and watch. She was a good lady. Not once did your god or his son ease her pain and suffering. Not once. She didnt speak of any bright lights or angels decending to help her up there, no. Hard to share all this but there is more much more that has been closer to me. But I dont want to burden you all with my pain and suffering, I dont want your pitty and you dont all need the burden of what I have been through personly. Its pains me to think alot of you believe. There is nothing to believe. Good bye to you all and good luck in life.

| Adam-Victoria, man was created in God's image and according to God's likeness, as God is love this would bespeak that all men have the capacity to love. God's intention in creating man was that he would receive God as life by eating of the tree of life and thus God would have expression and dominion on the earth through the man He created. However, through temptation by the serpent, man fell, eating instead of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Thus God's original intention was not fulfilled. The first man failed utterly. BUT God's intention remained to have a people that would express Him and exercise His dominion. So He called another race, beginning with Abraham, but again there was failure and God was still seeking to have His expression on the earth. So God Himself became a man, the God-man Jesus, complete God and perfect man. With the incarnation God now had a man on the earth that expressed Him, a man with the highest standard of morality, a man who lived out the divine attributes in His human virtues. This Jesus lived a human life, was crucified, resurrected and ascended to the throne, eventually being consummated as the life-giving Spirit. His incarnation brought divinity into humanity and His resurrection and ascension brought humanity into divinity. As the Spirit (Gk pneuma), He is breath, living air that can be received by those that believe into Him and call upon His name. In His crucifixion is redemption to all those who believe and in His resurrection is regeneration with the divine life. Thus we see God's third attempt to have expression and dominion on the earth. Now this God-man Jesus lives within His believers, and, if given the way by them, lives out His life within them transforming them into His image. |

adam victoria i must admit with a thread title of i believe in jesus, from a person who does not believe, u are going to get your words very seriously challenged, like u well and truely put your foot into it.
may have been easier to say to a christain, i do not believe, as the reaction could have been a bit better for u. saying i beleive when u do not believe, is going to get some very strong reactions, on the plus side.do u not value life that much,u need to do this? your other thread of hobbies was far better than this! a bit hypercritical to say i believe when far from it! human going to the slaughter? i thought life was worth more than this? or for u does it? |

| Cure the world of it's greatest disease (all religions) read "The God Delusion" - still on many best seller lists - then pass it on and ask them to pass it on and on and on etc.. Mankind has been held back by being told to have faith and belive in "God's will" as the explanation for natural disasters, disease, health, poverty, crop failure etc. Religion is to blame for so many wars and much of the worlds poverty - if the time and money given to religion were put to productive use then the contributors would be better off and if the huge wealth taken by religious organizations around the world were spent wisely - many of the worlds problems would disappear. |

| Not at all sir or madam. Who said, it's "God's will" to cause natural disasters, disease, health, poverty crop failure etc...? It might be so if we go on blaspheming and mocking His Holy Name, but the reality is this, 'God is a loving God'. This is enough for me to move on in life! |

Thank you for your response, it was an amazing journey even the some of the specialists were in awe. It is easy for me to believe, I am not saying that smugly or whatever, over many years I have had a few close encounters where I have been tested in Faith. Mine is a simle Faith. I believe what Jesus taught us, he taught us how to live,the path is often quite hard, but when you feel God's Love, it is like no other, it sustains you, but not only that it gives you the capacity to love others,to try to help another on this journey through life. This is where some of you get angry & think a Christian is a bible basher etc. I am not trying to do that I just want to share some of God's Love with you. No matter what age we are we are all children growing up,it is not easy for any of us. I can feel some of your pain in your posts.
I am a grandmother & still learning.
There you are I have opened up & no I am not on drugs.
