| zaxx - while I don't promote chrisianity I would have to say that some of my best friends who are christian are anything but boring. They have loads of hobbies and real fun lives. (Behind it is their faith) but it doesn't seem to dominate their every thought. |

God loves you and has made a way for you to have life . this is the expanse of his love that he loves us even while we deny that he is .but he has said he shall not always strive with man , thus he has numbered the days of a man to four score and ten and stated if they be longer they shall be days of sorrow . |

reality - what would you define as a fantasy land , something of the mind perhaps ? something you cannot see or taste or touch or hear or smell ?
like- thoughts , love , joy , envy ,peace,... do these thkngs exists or are they also fantasy ?
if you only define reality as that which can be boxed into the five senses then your reality is little more the a functioning mechanical device .
i am glad "life" far exceeds the meager limits of the five physical senses and you cannot, with honesty, say that it is not so ,for to do so, would be to say that love does not exist . |

An argument is only caused when the second person has a differing opinion to the first and then challenges the first person.
This escalates further to the point where logic is thrown in the dustbin and personal points of view become the way of discussion.
There is no room for your belief in logic. If you wish to oppose someones belief with another belief be prepared to go to the very end.
I for one believe in nothing. I have no belief or faith. All I want is plain facts which are apparently lacking in this or most threads on these message boards.
It seems as if the message boards purpose is to continue to divide humanity further by encouraging people to post conflicting beliefs.
Humanity now needs facts to bring it back together as currently it fragmented and at the mercy of the shadowy collaboration that are running(or ruining) the show.
Christian, Atheist, Darwinian, Muslim, Hindu, Sihk, Jew etc, etc YAWN, YAWN, YAWN....... Those that BELIEVE they KNOW the truth probably DON'T. They only THINK they do!!!
There is no superiority. When we learn to lose our ego's and learn not to rise to the bait, maybe, just maybe the problems will go away.
Then we may be able to get to the real truth which has evaded us by the deceptions used by the powers that be for millenia.

A question for the Christians:
If someone like myself has spent many years searching for the truth and would like to believe in Jesus but simply finds it all too difficult for various reasons, ... and then I die, with a desire to know Gods real, but still not knowing, then does that person end up in heaven or hell.
So simplified does a desire to know Christ without ever actually getting to the point of actual definate belief count as acceptance from your God?
Hope that makes sense I am having trouble getting it worded in a simple way. |

I can't give you a categorical answer on that one.
However I do believe that God intimately knows your every thought and intention. I am sad to think that anybody could have an intense desire to believe but just not quite get there.
So, as you are a genuine seeker, ask Him to come get you and then be patient, He does not always respond in the way that you might think.
If you sincerely seek the truth God will eventually find you. |

Now unbelievers, scientists, theorists, and whatever .. ists.. and the like may try to disprove the written word of God using their HUMAN forms of logic and intelligence, but unless humans (ON THIS THREAD) can come up with provable information that is of their own findings then it can be only hearsay based on what another Human has researched..

Now if someone believes in nothing, have no belief system or faith but requires others to give plain facts then I would consider and arguement to be one-sided...WHY???...
Because the individual who does not believe in anything has already stated his position of not believing in anything..therefore an argument does not exist because there is nothing to argue about when there is nothing to argue against..
In other words ..the opposition may have some strong views but the one who presents himself as not believing in nothing will come with nothing except to question, to ridicule, to mock,to disagree ..give biased opinions based on nothing because he thinks he can(cause he does not believe in anything but himself...
Come back to the real world easypeasy.. |
