The problem I have with humans evolving emotionally is we seem to be going backwards rather than forwards?
I do feel though that evolution is a part of life. I see no reason why God could not have created a world that evolves? |

| With regards to evolution, as the planet changes due to such things as climate changes, so do plant and animal life as it adapts to these environmental changes. That would be the sort of evolution changes that I believe work in with creation. |

You make a good point in that yes I suppose that it is possible that your god created aplanet that could evolve.
Though it seems that nothing in the bible allows for this train of thought.
I still hold to the thought I had as a quizzical kid.
That being, that a higher intelligence ( of unknown origion ) visited upon this planet and set certain things in motion.
Now that opens me up to attack. I can see main stream christians and other theologists pointing fingers at me. |

Also I agree with you that emotionally we seem to be going backwards.
Western civilisation in particular.
Perhaps we are too busy to take the time. perhaps we are blinkered by all the baubles our civilisation thinks we ought to obtain and we become increasingly disconnected from one another as beings.

Re evolution and the bible. I see no where that it doesn't allow evolutionary changes over time. Go along with me, if you will for a moment, that God is the creator. Does that not make him the very best scientist of all? Why would someone thats able to create not then allow that creation to change according to the changing environment?
I think sometimes we try to fit God into the Bible. He is so much bigger than the Bible. The Bible is for the humans to give us some sort of guidance, but its not designed to limit who God is.
We don't have all the answers. If we did we would be God.
Thats my thoughts anyway.

Hi easypeasy, I am not sure exactly what sort of an answer you are looking for with regards to animals vs human.
My opinion is that we humans have become somewhat of a disapointment to ourselves and to God and I feel the animals that we are supposed to have dominion over are doing so much better than us. It makes me question our intelligence or certainly the negative way that we have put our intelligence to use.
As I said, its an opinion of mine. Thats all. |

I love animals too we have our own farm
But there is a big difference between animals and humans.
Humans are body soul and spirit
Animals are body only so therefore there is a huge diffence..
I would love to think there will be animals in Heaven though |

I hope all you christians prayer for those poor families and animals in Aus. Where is your god ? Seems like Aust is in huge sh#t .One part of Aus is flooding the other is burning...wtf ! You guys better go find this god quickly.......people and thousands of animals are burning alive.....35 people including little children dead, and that figure will rise.Many burnt and injured. Over 100 dogs left in a kennels to burn.48 stud horses burnt to death.Hudreds of trapped cattle fried........just some of the horrors......Where is this god of yours.......? |
