People choose to have abortions, People choose to light fires and murder each other, people ... ... Why is this Gods fault?
Funny how people that don't believe in God always find reasons to blame this "fantasy" God when disaster strikes. Whats up with that?
You think Santas a fantasy so why not blame him for letting little children get killed? |

Hi Shmeads - you summed it up with STUPID. This man does not represent the church in a normal healthy way. He can be compared with the police that break laws. No credibility and no ethics worth listening to. A fanatic that lacks backbone.
Not worth the time of day. |

| The christians I know are sending donations of money over to help out the victims. They are certainly not laying blame and talking such nonsense. Their concern is for the victims and survivors. Most people I know are sending around emails showing caring people looking after the surviving koalas etc... Thats what caring decent people do and certianly thats the sort of thing my christian friends are doing. Not spouting nonsense to further damage Gods name. |

Fortunately the majority of normal thinking human can distinguish between the decent and norm vs the fanatics etc.
Very few people will take an ounce of notice of this religious idiot. A few will take him seriously, or use him to further blame the God they don't believe in but most will simply hear his nonsense and say "whatever!" and get about with their lives! Thank goodness most people are sensible enough not to judge majorities over the idiot minorities. |

You know..We created the baggage and not God..When us humans decided we were better than God and that we can do things better than the Creator of all things..we dug a big hole for ourselves and we are now reaping the consequences. We are in the end times as was prophesied in the bible. The time span is not up to us but it is all in God's hands and it will be in His time and there is nothing we can do about...The good news must continue to go out....Some people will reject it but thats God's problem because the battle belongs to him....And whether there are Crooked Christians or Ministers or Catholic priests, whatever!!!God knows and sees all things and they will be held accountable on the day of Judgement for their own personal stuff and not what others did wrong...That is just how God Works...Their judgement will be alot harsher because they have the bible but to those out there in the WORLD(agnostics, unbelievers etc), GOD'S grace abounds much as he continues to keep his door wide open to them.
He is the God of second chances and He is full of mercy and His grace is sufficient for us all... |

that's very convenient for the believers who like to commit 'sins' .. |

I am always faintly irritated when christians get up and gleefully chortle on about the end of day...end of times...time? End of days? Always sounds wrong. They sit there, clutching their bibles, or turning over pages and showing each other bits that they like....saying 'as prophesied'...
So is this End coming soon, is it? As an Infidel and a shocking Disbeliever, what is going to happen to me? Should I be frightened? Just thought it is time to find out... |

Realityz Re-Read my post..I would have thought it would have been enough for your intelligence to deduce that believers and christians alike whether they be religious or not would be judged accordingly..
But there is a way out...TRUE repentance is required from all of us...God only is the judge of what is true or not..True Repentance is all that is required by God..in other words a inner change where the individual desires to change his lifestyle..He decides to... "do it"...God's way..<<<GENUINE DESIRE>>>God reads the heart and a journey of a work in progree begins in the Spirit for that individual.. |

| That xav is up to you..We all have a free will and can choose whatever we want..We get given options and we choose to chuck it out the window or we choose to retain it..No one twists anybody's arm.. You can still be the same xav that you want to be forever and ever .. |

Mike has been sharing the "HOW" or the Good News for months now on this and other threads..Many have rejected it..Jesus warned that many will reject it and that persecution and the like will come upon those who preach it...It happened then and it is happening today...

| hi xav...Your comment about empirical truth as it relates to a singular event is right on the money, and I sense little difference between our respective positions as far as 'truth' is concerned. However beyond our minor disagreement about the word 'absolute', which is partly semantics, is a more important point. I have recently seen a definition of 'absolute truth' as "inflexible reality: fixed, invariable, unalterable facts" whihc I can relate to. Is it your position that such a thing as this does not exist? I'm curious because I see this absolute truth as something of a logical necessity. |

| Mike. When it can be proven, beyond any shadow of doubt, that there IS a God, I will believe. But currently, I see no evidence of it at all. As an intelligent individual living in the 21st century, I can only see evidence that there is not. |

Mike ... i assume this is an example of your 'experiential evidence of testimony' when related to the spiritual discussion ..
Salma Hayek's daughter sees ghosts.
The actress is convinced 16-month-old Valentina has a sixth sense that allows her to communicate with spirits and admits her child's behaviour scared her.
She said on US TV series 'The Rachel Ray Show': "Last night she saw a ghost. I'm convinced. She woke up and her eyes were open. And she's looking at one specific point and she's going, 'No no no no, au revoir,' which means goodbye in French. And she's looking at someone, but there's no one there. I was so scared, and I'm like, 'Yes, au revoir, whoever you are, get out!' And then she started saying it in English, 'Bye bye, bye bye!'
"I guess she was trying in different languages to see what nationality this ghost was to go away. It was terrifying!" |

Gam good call ! I made the same call yesterday due to being tired of the unnecessary insults. I prefer to dialog with people that challenge me and put up a good debate. I don't bother with silly remarks for long.
My comment was: over and out and thats how it stays for me.
