1. I have read the text books, but in most cases they are doctrine not evidence. I've also read theiostic evolutionists such as Francis Collins and Donald Nield, but again all I see are assumptions with little support.
2. With regards to the fossil record, it matters not whether evolution was gradual or punctuated. There should be intermediaries. Even Darwin acknowledged that for an amoeba to become a human, macroevolution had to be so common that the earth would be teeming with fossil proof. His view was that there had to be literally thousands of transitional species waiting to be discovered. It is estimated that there have been around 250,000 species identified, none an intermediary.
3. Evolution posits transition between vastly different special groups. In virtually all cases these transitions have serious problems, eg the reptile lung v's the avian lung. On the probabilities alone, these conjectures are so improbable as to be statistically impossible.
4. Evolutionists have not be able to adequately answer the challenge of irreducible complexity, an example of which is the bacterial flagellum.
5. Macro evolution is, at its core, based on mutations that lead to special development, ie some improvement or beneficial characteristic. But here's the problem. Anatomical mutations are either harmful or neutral; none are beneficial. Even biochemical mutations are very rare, and when they do occur it is observed that the mutation dissapears stright back into the gene pool.
I'm struggling to see that this theory is even possible let alone probable. |

Hi deecee, good to see someone who wants an intelligent debate. Although not a "creationist" I also believe that evolution is so full of holes it sunk before it floated.
The thing is you don't need to go and choose the opposite or opposame (being religion) which is also full of just as many holes. Neither stands up to basic scrutiny if it is looked at HONESTLY!
