Peace on earth?

I SEEN your response in another thread regarding nature documentaries. It behooves me to draw to your attention that this is a public message board frequented by persons representing the most of the spectrum of socio-economic strata in this country.
In this milieu, it is acceptable and embarrassingly frequent practice to snipe, squabble and bicker over both serious topics and frivolities of little consequence. With the passage of time and increased exposure and experience on your part you will come to find that there are a number of mostly frivolous contributors to any and all threads, more interested in their youthful play and mutual congratulations of self-adjudicated brilliance than in any serious debate or exchange of information. These can be annoying, but far less annoying than witnessing an arrogant sh!thead chortle in the same smug, adolescent glee over having 'scored' in some imagined intellectual exchange against an opponent insufficiently skilled for the challenge.
Particularly disgusting is to find that certain someone has also initiated a thread with the provocative title, "What are you doing to improve society?" Whereas I would regard 'laughing WITH' your MB compatriots fair practice and a definite positive action; 'laughing AT' your compatriots is hardly gentlemanly practice.
