Social equality?
As different societies learn to live with one another, they adopt the concept of tolerance towards each other. However, Jesus of the Bible never condones the tolerance for people of other religions or faiths; he wants them to blindly believe and follow only him and his god. This intolerance virtually guarantees prejudice and conflict.
Jesus never offers solutions for slavery, poverty, or women's equality. As for slavery, it appears he encouraged the beating of slaves:
And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
-Luke 12:47
Note, the word "servant" here means slave. The Biblical Jesus lived in a time when slavery flourished, yet He never spoke or fought against it. |

Protection from harm?
According to Jesus, if you believe in him and if you drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt you.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them...
-Mark 16:17-18
Now this allows an excellent and clear way to test the power of Christian belief. If you really, really believe in Jesus and you want to prove to anyone the power of belief, you only need to drink a deadly poison and, according to Jesus, it will not harm you.
If you describe yourself as a believing Christian, I suggest that you drink a vial of cyanide or arcnic and prove to yourself (or any atheist) the power of your deity. If you do not feel willing to take this simple test, then what does that say about your religious claims? Do you feel up for the challenge? |

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority has the Name of Jesus. Many have died, but only Jesus died and rose again, and He is still alive.

If you believe in a particular faith, why not? no-one says' oh budha' or ' oh Mana' So in a country where religion, is a persons way of getting through life, what is the problem? people like rugby or sex, no one says that they r wrong, so what is this big deal about 'ho, another 'religious thread'?
I believe in Christ! Is that wrong? In Nz much more quiet in practice that in other countries. Is Christ a religion or a persons faith? can you be spiritual and not be 'religious' in a 'civilized?' society? if you look into it further, may actually learn something about life and yourself, and find there is a spiritual side to the 'physical' world! This Is real life, not 'religion', but to some, a normal part of life, as sex or rugby or drinking is to others...true? think about it! |

for the 'test' in Scripture, it says 'though shoult not put thou Lord, thou God to the Test.
diety is for a small god, perhaps in philosophy. If you really seek Our father, what is wrong to seek Jesus. Just ask! even a non believe will find that through spirit all things are possible. believe in your heart and you will see, not with physical eyes, yet you close your eyes and seek Him, either through Jesus or straight to God, or Our Father ,himself, directly, you will find. but get alone, not with others. It is only between YOu and Our Father or God as you know him by.Test is on yourselves, believe for a change, it will happen, seek for yourself, then through Spirit, All things can be done.(personal experience)try it! it cold be the best move u did. God is love, yet not the love this world knows. |

on Earth yes, you live 'longer' than Jesus, yet that was not 'his' plan for His life. He died for a reason, and in spirit, he carries on, as it says in scripture, yet through Holy spirit. when you die, what will happen to you?U just content with what this physical world has to offer? with eyes shut? thats up to you. there's more to life than that, if you want more than what this life has to offer, that is!, or are you more concerned with the present and what happens at the end life ? or is this just 1 part of life's cycle?

I don't need a reward to live a good and full life, that's what Jesus told me
and how do you know what happens after death? you've only got the word of people who say "according to" |

| to me, death is another chapter in life, yet for spirit, a different phase in life. I do not go with what others think nor say, yet through research , look at possibilities, yet for me, death is where the body stops, yet in spirit we can enter a different cycle in life, depending on when Jesus Christ returns. For me, I look for much more in life, due to my background, from a very disciplines lifestyle, yet with full of questions, i look for answers to the questions |

and oh look the peole who claim they dont beleive are all here mocking that truth without reason or motive - again
trying to disprove something that they claim does not exist .
if something does not exist then it hardly requires that anything be done about it .
