I know!!!! Vodafone do prepaid broadband. Its a little expensive I think, I used it in Australia. You buy the key (its like a memory stick) which is around $100 and it comes with a $30 top up. Not sure how it works in NZ though. But that's an option, then you can take your lappy and keep it touch with the world!!!
