Dear Aunt Dodgeyone..
I am an 88 year old Neanderthal with a penchant for biting my toenails.. I am now down to the quick, but still the addiction persists...
I know this is common behaviour, but I wish to desist as my Zimmer Frame is finding it difficult to handle the adjustment in nail length...

I strongly recommend that you do not mess with the wordy posters as they are the smartest of them all and collectively could be imminently threatening to your personal safety.
However, what is done is done and you have a range of strategies at your disposal. An apology is of course, out of the question as it compromises your emotional wellbeing. I would suggest you move on as if it never happened or alternatively, you could form a hunting party and go for the jugular, just ensure you spelling is correct.
