Can any of you help me with a nice verse I can write into a card of a friend of mine who is sick. (Hes a retired Pastor - so I don't want to appear like I am teaching him to suck eggs! lol - I just wanted something encouraging.)

The Good News is that Salvation is Free. What is this Good News?
God is love. Love prompted Him to redeem us. (1Jn 4: 8,9)
God created human beings in His Image (Gen. 1:27-31)
Sin destroys our fellowship with God so we run from His presence(Gen.3:8, Isa. 59:1,2)
Separated from God we deserve to die eternally (Rom.6:23)
All have sinned and are under the penalty of death(Rom. 3:23)
Adam brought death, Jesus brings life (Rom.5: 18,19)
Jesus bore our curse. (Gal.3:13)
Jesus experienced death for us (Heb.2:8,9)
Jesus became sin (took its penalty for us) (2 Cor. 5:21)
As we repent, He forgives (Act3:19)
As we confess, He pardons (1Jn.1:9)
Receiving Jesus, we are no longer condemned (Rom.8:1)
Through grace by faith we are saved (Eph.2:8)
As we receive Him by faith we become sons of God (Jn.1:12)
Believing in Him, we receive the gift of eternal life. (1 Jn 5:11-13)
SALVATION IS A PRESENT EXPERIENCE AND GIFT OF GOD FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE (Jn 3:16).

The Messiah Yeshua
Blessed are You, O Lord, Who has given us the
way of salvation in Yeshua.
He walked among us filled with Your Spirit, the
only one who ever fulfilled Your Torah.
He healed the sick and raised the dead. The
multitudes of our people sought his touch.
He taught as no man taught. With authority,

Talk of confused Christians. They are the generation that think they are pure in their own eyes, but have never been cleansed from their filthiness. If these Christians are honest they will confess that they still have sin even though they claim to be 'Christian.' And the reality is, God cannot call a sinner His child. And sinners cannot enter the kingdom of God.

i Too beleive in this good news ,that there is hope of life and that eternal through belief and faith in the lord Jesus .
I have believed it ..acted on that belief by faith and experienced the ongoing effectual tangible reality of it . |

grato ..it is this very confession or admitting that we have sin that God requires as the first step in repentance from it .
there is nothing you can do to clean yourself of sin . your web site does not seem to be faith based but intellectually based .
if you could cleanse yourself of all sin then there would be no reason for God to send his word made flesh to die on behalf of the sins of others . |
