Hi all. "Posting from work?"... What's work? :-)
Smiley: I don't know facebook or bebo, so cannot help there. However, if you have one of those Telecom Xtra broadband modems that they claim as "Single PC"... Just to let you know that you should be able to simultaneously run 2 PC's off the back of that modem, as it is a modem/router. I tried this AND IT WORKED for me, before trading up to more ports when the need arose.
One PC runs through USB and, as I remember, you have to load some driver off the Xtra CD that comes with the modem/router. The other PC can be more distant from the modem/router through an ethernet cable longer than the 1m that comes out of the Xtra box.
You should be able to get 2 PC's on the internet at the same time! May need to find a 13yr old who understands all this better than I can explain it. :-)

wife can use the lap to while I am using the desk top
problem is, I have to set up all her work for her and edit plus print when she is done
sometimes I may as well do the typing
no matter how many time I haver shown her, I still have to add the attchements to her emails |

| i will sack any of my staff who access the internet for personal use and i will not supply cell phones to staff. they are here to work i dont take cash out of their pay so i can indulge in my hobbies at their expense, as for myself because iam the boss i do what i want |

Actually I am running the laptop and the desktop with one connection and adsl thingumyjig, but am tired of pulling the plug out of one to put into the other.
I am assuming that with wireless, I can just log on, and be online on both machines at the same time.
Course, when my stupid new fax machine rings, or I send a fax, I lose the internet altogether. |
