NOTICE TO PATRONS
Our glamarous, spiked heeled and gravity defying bar tender catered for lunch time on Monday, and our honorary (not to be equated with horny) member of the Friday Girls Night Out Club catered on Tuesday, with hot pot a la Coro Street. No mean feat, coaxing Betty out of her secret recipe took hours and profits... that woman has a tolerance for gin that Princess Margaret envies.
So, I have volunteered my Beef Vindaloo, complete with rice (plain or pilau), chappatis and/or nan for tomorrows lunch menu, and spent the evening in fire proof protection preparing it. To reassure those who may cast doubts (and the health inspectors), the animal cooked did eat grass, not Chef or Butch.
This notice is to advise that lunch will be available by self-service buffet only, as the chef will be sourcing a drain unblocker to be on emergency standby prior to Thursday opening time.
Note:
The Last Resort Beef Vindaloo lunch is not recommended for the faint f'arted, especially if you wish to remain discreet.
Those who have not previously had their mouths tar-sealed should ensure they are adequately anethetised by our fine ales and spirits.

My kid keeps me out of the pub... but I guess I haven't got long to wait before she wants to go with me.
Was at Auckland Town Hall last night... c'rappy sparkly at their bar, and their bar tenders are not terribly versitile.
No way could they balance on heels, throw a dart and pull and pint simultaneously.
What happened to skilled bar staff? |

| yeah, I know, but to be honest, I don't think I'd ever want to work behind another bar... I prefer the customer side, although I used to say, why go to a pub and not get paid for drinking... you're usually on your feet and chatting anyway... slugging a few glasses didn't seem like hard work. |
