only because more people live here, but I agree, Waiheke and Great Barrier are lovely.
but I did enjoy a wee boat cruise around Wellington's harbour, perhaps not as pretty, but what a lot of characters on the boat. |

have to say, I liked the feel of Wellington, Auckland just feels like a big work place, rather than a city.
but, was not terribly impressed with Te Papa, comparing it to the War Memorial museum, but that maybe because I just love visit that old place on the hill. |
