My earlier post "sheer nylons" revealed some interesting clues as to why, perhaps the now all to familiar cry of "there not being any good men around", may be getting louder.
My thoughts have been for a while now that great, intentional damage has been done to what many of us are still lucky enough to recognise as "REAL ROMANCE".
Having missed out on this blissful state i feel certain that the deep seated bitterness created in the hearts of the man hating feminists(who now control and manipulate much of our Media and Govt), has led to an intentional campaign of spoiling tactics for everyone else who are probably wondering just what the problem is.
My post "sheer nylons" revealed that there are still women who appreciate the power and mystique known as femininity and are only to happy to use and enjoy it in the company of suitably appreciative men(Halleleuja).
On the other hand we have all the women who have been dumb enough to swallow the feminist message and live their lives doing their best to live, act and look like blokes! To these women, being feminine is a loss of power and a form of capitulation to the 'wicked' male. Wearing hot lingerie is seen as an indulgement for said "wicked" bloke, akin to buying lollies for naughty children, and avoided at all costs. So to the act of making a hard working bloke his lunch, dinner or an ice cold bourbon at the right time!
Its that bait which has poisoned many relationships, but for those smart enough not to take it, the Sunsets are still vivid, the connections still real and the royal raunch of REAL ROMANCE lives on. Long may it continue. |

| Fair point Reaper, the smart ones are sweet but i notice a worrying trend in such otherwise happy cohabitations.Packs of jaded, bitter divircees who are these days a common site clogging up the bars, coffee shops and pamper parlours are always recruiting and especially like to target any relationships they see as happy. They worm their way in trying to get the woman out on the town for what they call"Girls nights out" which in reality are often no more than tragic, drunken attempts to copy what they see as male behaviour(exessive booze, promiscuous behaviour e.t.c).This is seen as a form of "revenge" by the man bashers for what they think men have been doing all along.Trouble is none of the behaviours are natural to women and they just end up making fools of themselves(usually just before heading down the local cop shop to lay false claims of drink spiking or rape). This is a dangerous trap that happy couples should be on guard for. |

| Ahhh yes, good one Mar, no my friend, i dont and never have been a clubber or desperate dan. Call me boring but i been hooked up with the one very cool chick for a fair while now. My comments are really no more than a personal take on an issue which is constantly in our faces, in large part due to the female friendly media which continues to push its anti romance propoganda. Sex an the city was one vehicle which was used to breed discontent (among many others) among women. Not so subtle, yet very targeted scripts which constantly reinforce the notion that women are worth "so much more". |

| Sorry gomuilligan, but I don't know any of the women to which you refer, all my wifes female friends are pretty cool, not as cool as my wife of course. So with that I'll leave this one. I get your point though. |

Appreciate your sweet naievety fitz(and good humour on previous post)but must beg to differ. Its a bit like Desperate Howives, Cashmere Mafia and the raft of other so called "empowering" cr@pola spoon fed us by the American militant feminist manipulators.
For those doubters i can tell you that well known man hater and nut cruncher extraordinaire Linda Perry (remember that song "whats going on? yeah her)has an executive (tokenly gifted) script writers position with the feminist friendly American network that mass produces said cr@pola.
There is a lot more going on in these shows than the obvious wanton waste and self indulgent navel gazing i can assure you.
The same is true of the American Billboard charts which promote sassy female bands with anti male lyrics above all else. Again Linda Perry is heavilly involved in this message. |

| Congrats Pagan, your girl sounds very similar to my own and im sure theres many other brothers similarly gifted. They are the real romances that just continue to flourish , but like anything precious, careful maintenance is required. In my case that has meant making 1 or 2 clearly bitter and wannabe disruptive galpals less than welcome in our happy domain. One had the cheek to call me a control freak(the cheek of it!!)She was thrice married a career slapper and had the hump cos i wasnt keen on my sugar hangin out with her!(crazy Huh?). Luckilly my interference was kept to a minimum as my goodlady can sense a rat with the best of em. |

| Having been married twice to men who thought that the ring on the finger meant they could go out and bed anyone they wanted and use and abuse me, I would like to know why you are blaming women for the loss of romance. |

Indeed Pagan, when i sit down for lunch and pull out the very grouse home made sangers and titbits many of the boys freak. Even though they bust their butt at work, often for layabout birds at home who do nothing, they cant even get a coffee on the way out the door much less lunch. Thats what i call the "Princess" syndrome or the "IM worth It" syndrome. They are taught that being decent to a guy is wrong or disempowering!
To the disillusioned lady above, i am NOT blaming women in general, just the man hating feminists that dictate this travesty. |

Well Stilletoes, you can thank the sisterhood for needing your wage also. Feminism has led women up many wrong paths and one that todays women are paying a heavy price for was the insistence by the feminist lobby that women be not only welcomed into the workplace, but indeed manipulated into it in every field(many of which they were not even suited to0. The feminist enforced farce known comically as Affirmative Action, has seen women gifted employment in their thousands for jobs they had no experience for or ability to perform, simply because as women they were patronisingly assumed to need such one sided assistance. The end result is many fully qualified blokes overlooked and forced to work out of their field (lesser wages for men) just so women can claim a distorted version of "equality".
Women really did have it super sweet before the man haters started whinging on their behalf. |

| Sol, I like going to work. I like opening doors for people regardless of their gender. I like mowing the lawn and putting out the rubbish and lighting toxic garden fires and changing my own tyres and building stuff in the backyard that looks wonky. I DON'T LIKE MAKING SCONES.Cheers |

| I am independant, and do not rely on my husband to do everything, I do alot of jobs, much like fitzco LOl, change the tyres on the car if need be, mow the lawns....etc, why wait around and expect it to be done. But I do bake as well, pretty much...we are a team in our house, probably because we have been married more than 25 years and old school with compromises etc...all good though. Not to much of a fan of the programmes you mentioned, tend to follow Brit programmes....too ditzy for me the ones you mentioned, each to their own though. |

| agreed mar, in keeping with that theme i pride myself on not only being a competitive athlete and all round mans man, but also whipping up an array of dizzying dishes in the kitchen(my Shepards pie is to die for dahling)and sorting the clean up as well. Feminists would call me a symbol of male compliance but the fact is i just like cooking! With regard to changing a flat i gotta say as a pretty fit strong type of chap, there have been wheel nuts that have taken every ounce of strength to budge. I really couldnt see to many women shifting em!(although your Madam PM would probably give it a good shake!) |
