Well, using the archaic logic that a 'real man' means someone who is emotionally stoic, physically big or commanding in presence, a breadwinner, probably interested in sports especially physical ones and who exudes 'machismo', I would say a 'real woman' would be someone who encapsulates the stereotypical gender identity, who cooks the dinner for her husband and kids, who is emotionally available but requires physical protecting, who has physical traits that men find attractive (chest hip ratio etc.)
For me a 'real' anyone is someone who is happy with themselves and doesn't buy into society/the medias's idea of who we should be. just my two cents. : ) |

That sadly is not the only one sided propoganda we are force fed sicoffit, all we ever hear is how recent "surveys" show (shock horror!!) that men are not doing an equal share of housework. Makes me laugh how you will NEVER hear the opposite argument, that being women not doing their share of the home renovations(despite reno shows showing pushy chicks with brand new pink tools telling old school tradies how to do everything), not doing their share of concreting,tool and machinery maintenance,fence building car repairs e.t.c.
Its a blatantly one sided argument for sure which in reality does nothing but present ALL women as favoured losers(even though there are more exellent chicks than duds). |

| Real woman used to be able to balance a baby on each hip, plus one in the oven, whilst bashing the dust out the carpets hung over the line, carry water, beat the lye soap out of piles of washing, clean out the coal range, light her own fire to heat the hot water, bake 2 loaves of bread and a batch of scones, slaughter and pluck a chook, plant half an acre of rice, and still have her hubbies dinner on the table and his slippers warm and ready for him, at 6 pm after closing time without complaining about it. That is till a few thoughtless men invented the automatic washing machine & drier, dishwashing machine, hair driers, vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens, supermarkets, instant meals in a packet, vibrators, ATM cards, and an economy to support them all on the DPB. Yea right; Where have all the real woman gone? |

| Thank goodness woman burnt their bra, learnt to drive, and fought for equal rights so she can change her own flat tyre. I whole heartedly support womans lib. They deserve it. Power to the woman sporting padded shoulders suits and crew cuts. Send them all out to work whilst we stay at home, I say. Just as well I know how to cook already. |

i hope it wasn't a city slicker that asked this question .. go live the life of a farmers wife and i think you will find something more akin to a "real woman "
to all farmers wives ..(the real ones that get out on the farm ,not the ones that drive the fairlane and wimper when they break a nail )
