| I must be getting behind the times as I always thought a Skank was a Hoe , a S.lut or a young teen on the loose . But lately I heard that some young teen girls are proud to be called a Skank and say its cool to be one .WTF. Am I missing something here ??? So what is a true Skank ..???? |

| Bruget, I understood it to be your interpretation as well. I can only suggest perhaps these girls who are proud to be called one are a result of the very over sexualised nature of tween culture these days (That makes me sound very prudish but hopefully you get what I mean). I have seen tv shows lately when women have been addressed by men in the manner of "your my ho" or similar and the female looks proud, like she's "his girl". Perhaps the meaning of ho is changing and with that some may think of skank in the same way? |

The way I see it, a skank is a nicer way of saying s.lut. A lot of girls these days are proud of their sexual exploits, and why not. Boys are all the time. lol.
