lol jackie i dont get help from winz get your facts straight and isnt the statement you just made to me judgemental my partner makes a good honest living.. i didnt judge all those on a benefit i judged those who claim with no good reason if your able to work thn you should |

| I would not begrudge pagan a WINZ benefit. I thought they were there as a safety net for this type of thing happening. Hopefully your family qualifies soon. If one of you got sick or was injured or got laid off, would you not appreciate some assistance until you can work something out?? |

| Im head surgeon and have three children,its not by choice but its all about managing time and allowing my 1/4 maori children the lifestyle they deserve, plus we dont get handouts and petrol prices are not coming down. |

| get it right i did not go there for money i went about a NON BENEFICIARY FOOD GRANT not a damn handout .. take note little i dont need to go on the pill or keep my legs closed my husbands company went into recievership...dah hence no wages and not once did we ever ask for money.. as for me working up until a couple of yrs ago i worked all my life from leaving school and gave up to concentarte on my youngest child who has problems... so heres to you go claim another dollar |

I would think Pagan should get a benefit as well. The issue for me is her judgemental, steriotyping attitude towards other also needing support. Eg people sleeping until 1.00pm then collecting their benefit.
Its just a typical vent of those that don't understand the system. Shes bred outside of her means, wants to a be an at home mother, relies on her partners income etc... Just another moaner. Wonder how many fathers to the kids??? |

| blvdgrl i take my hat off to you.. it is because of ppl like you i still have 3 of my 6 kids who were all close to death infact one was pronounced dead at the scene of her accident when she was just 18mths old and by the will of god and some great neurosurgeons made an almost full recovery .. good for you giving your kids the best you can and your petrol is not any cheaper it costs us an xtra 8-0 a wk for gas for my hubby to go back and forth to work at his new job |

| and i did not choose to be an at home mother i have raised 5 kids had a 6th who passed away and 2 foster children.. one of my kids have an intellectual disability another has severe behaviour problems brought on by an abusive ex husband and father so dont typecast me the way you did .. i didn't typecast all beneficaries i worked for almost 20yrs before my kids stepdad and i made the decision that my youngest child needed me more than i needed new boots(j/K) |

blvdgirl; dang, why are you even worried about not getting hand outs with the pay you would be on as a head surgeon?
Also I don't understand why you had to throw in that your children are 1/4 Maori .. does that make a difference |

| not a problem, I understand where your coming from, I have two children of my own who are disabled and now myself is no joy at all, seeing some people that have no need to be on a benefit makes my blood boil as well, with the price of things and the new tax rate that lets the rich get richer and the poor get poorer makes no sence to me one would thing it should be the other way round just like clack gives you a tax break and turns around and takes it all back plus more with fuel tax and such but we do have to look at the fact the population has increased and meanwhile the amount of people on a benefit has decreased but can be decreased even further if some stopped riping the system off. |

| Pagan asking for any type of grant is a form of money support. Food included. You sound like you are having a victim day. We all have our hard life tales to share. We get on and make the most of life. Some need more support than others. Just a fact. Get used to the idea and worry about your own situation and stop winging about others. I weep for your kids! |

| I think that the main reason here is that "yes" benefits seem to be easy for many non working ciizens of NZ to obtain, the criteria is strictly for people whom have no means of living a regular life from day to day, obviously we all care about the situation enough to have our say, in my occupation i see the worst case scenerios and sometimes feel a little underpaid but the only way we can change this as a nation is to get rid of the MMP and bring back the FFP so then our tax payers dollars will not be there to line the pockets of our councillors but to pay the people who do a good job, Have our say and Vote that way we can be heard as a nation! Then our benefit system will be harder to "get handouts from" and breed workers. |

| anyone who is on the benefit other than a pension, sickness (as in being actually sick and in need of it) or direstraits in need of the dpb need to get up off their hyneys and stop bludging off me and get a job, am so sick of supporting useless people, i work my butt off and dont have anyone paying for my over due phone account!!! |

why the heck would i be having a victim day we were sent there actually by employment rights because the company went bust and noone was told it would happen..i never whined about not getting help my point was those able bodied ppl who claim it and you have no need to weep for my kids they are happy healthy bright children
