Angel - fine I get you don't support National. Your choice - but what do you actually think about the topic in question? Life with no Parole for someone who has murdered that has a criminal history?
What do you suggest we do with him/her? |

You might like to use your eyes and read the boards concerning New Zealand Maori and Pakeha issues and indigenous rights for all, and oh dont forget to read the garden of eden thread!
we all live in this country and are going for unity at any cost with or without those who are negative, to make this country a safe place for children today and in the future!
societys damaged babies born into alochol and drug foetal syndrome, and family violence etccc..all babies no cultural exclusion..

Fair enough Angel - I agree 15 years is rubbish - and under the current regime these criminals only need to serve one third of that sentence before they become eligible for parole - so lets be honest it's a 5 year sentence really isn't.
I believe in harsher penalties myself personally - and no I don't dare to dream that all politicans are honest - but I get one say every 3 years - so when I do get the chance I'm going to try my best to change what matters to me. |

| At the end of the day, if whoever is in power stopped sending so many kiwi $$$'s out of the country into our 'impoverished' pacific and for aids in PNG, then we would have money to cover this along with $$ for health and educates. And why would we want to send money out when it is needed here???????? Time to keep it at home and use it more appropriately, and if this is to keep them in for life - bloody good and about time I say!!! |

I agree with the Nats idea of no parole for murderers etc but... will they/can they do it?
You have all read the front page of the Herald to form your opinions but you should also have read Tapu Misa's column too, to give yourselves some perspective of what your ideas re Labour have done since the last election.
