| Why would anyone want to celebrate Caps? The worthless treaty and whiney Maori looking for money still exist. Nobody will celebrate until the treaty is dead. And we never have to listen to a Maori whine about what happened 200yr ago when they were not even alive. |

Stevo doesn't want to know the real truth... the Moriori myth suits his perspective, and so why would he want to "open his eyes" and see it as a myth? he might actually find out his whole view of race relations in NZ needs to be adjusted, and that would be too much for him to do... |

| All we see is yet another payout to Maori. It never said final payout. And nobody will celebrate till it does. There should have been one payout for all Maori. At many does is piss people of for many many years. Public opinion of Maori has just dropped even lower if that is possible. Most Maori are not to blame as they will never see any. Just the greedy iwi. You have nobody to blame but yourselves for not all working together. At least a few did this time I'll give them that. But it is not finished and most believe it never will be. |

One payout may have been forgotten quite quickly. But it is just a never ending chain of them.
Oh well not my problem. Doesn't effect me as I pay my tax. Doubt I will ever have any respect for a successful Maori though. Even though some did it on their own. From now on most will be looked at as those that could not. |

| Only Maori choose to seperate us into pakeha and others. I see myself as no different to an asian or indian. We are all NZ'ers. Maori are not. They make that pretty clear. |

| That's right jay.......and their own tax dollars, it's a laugh really, they are financing their own compensation, you just have to love our elitist view of justice at work don't ya. It could be likened to Robin Hood, steal from the Maori, then get them to pay tax, and then pay them back with their own tax dollars, well, sort of like Robin Hood aye!! |
