| Yeah, I saw on sky news one in four South African males admit to raping women between the ages of 21 - 29 and most think it is their right as a male to take a beautiful woman. Oh man, luckily my sponsor child is at school now, getting three meals a day and an education. At the moment, that's all I can do to help :-)) |

I saw the heading,and came on here to find out why pakeha`s binge drink.
I know now, it`s beacause a bear who lived by a motorcamp, ate a goats balls, and some fool ate a venomous spider in the jungle, wow.. |

Gary Wills, this is a lame statement, but why do they continue to have children when they cant feed them? I always wonder that because, if I couldn't provide for my children well quite simply I would keep my legs closed. I would rather go without then bring children into the world to suffer a life of starvation, poverty, violence and then die!
As you have mentioned rape is rife in parts of Africa...These poor women would probably be bashed or killed if they were to deny their men their marital rights .! The men do not care if the women and children suffer long as they get what they believe they are entitled too... |

The primary reason we see more evidence of binge drinking in certain groups is the social norms of those cultures. Asian culture doesn't have a large drinking aspect to their social occasion. At dinner with the family alochol is absent.
However Asian's do indeed binge drink. Go to any number of Karaoke bars around Auckland and you will see Asian men in groups drunk.
Its about the social norm. IN China men drink while gambling. In Japan they drink to celebrate or commemorate.
In dessert cultures it didn't really ever evolve because of the dehydration issue, instead smoking hashash became the main form of social lubrication. Ancient Egypt was an exception brewing beer and mead, but this was only after they had adapted from a nomadic dessert people to stable and centralised civilisation.
In European and Northern social groups alcohol formed as the primary reason for three reasons.
1- The ground water was not particularly safe to drink, hence boiled water or alcoholised water (think watered down wine) was the method of gaining hydration.
2- Foods often couldn't be wasted so were often pickled, fermented or salted. Fermentation of fruit for example was originally used to save fruit but over time resulted in fruit spirits being produced.
3- Alcohol aided digestion creating a more efficient food - energy conversion.
Although these relate to issues going back 8000 years this was the basis of alcohol's involvement in European society right through until modern day. Its only been since the 19th century and the understanding of water control that alcohol has taken a rather more social requirement rather than a healthy necessity (water in Europe until the 19th century was dangerous to drink and was mostly used for cleaning.) |

Great excise tax was one reason for less consumption.... lots of excuses but no other reason as to why? We are not in the 16-17th century!
Asians drink away from home because they think the white society is freedom from constraints of home.
If only they knew |

What sky news not report is… It is legal for (Black) men to rape women in South Africa. Illegal for whites. If you are white and force you wife to have sex you can go to jail for up to 36 years. Why do you think the whites leaving SA? It is to protect our children. Please do some descent research and you will have more passion for the white South Africans here in NZ |
