Road scum is road scum. That drunk old lady who hit and killed the cyclist, she's road scum. The boyracer that wraps his car round a powerpole, also road scum.
We should judge drivers on their individual actions, not on how fast or loud their cars are. |

Aye everyone should act like 60 yr olds. And not smoke, drink or do anything even slightly dangerous. Loud music hurts yer ears as well so that is out too.
Pretty much everything fun is slightly dangerous. So from now on nobody is allowed to have any at all.
All cars must have super quiet exhausts that make em gutless and unresponsive too. Anything or any sound that gets that adrenaline flowing should be banned :) |

Hmm how about everyone should get tested yearly for their car control abilities in a skidpan. From what I have seen, Lack of driving skills, poor judgement, and innattention due to having to do other things to keep yourself awake when driving slowly. Is the cause of just as many accidents.
Speed perception too? Pulling out in front of a car doing 100 and driving off dead slow because accelerating fast would be dangerous :) |

A Defensive Driving course should be a prerequisite for graduating from L plates to a full licence.
Drivers Education should also be taught at high school too. |

It seems you've been sucked in like the rest of the road scum, if you think a big bore exhaust system will give your car more power and make it go faster. The only reason a car with a loud exhaust goes more quickly, is because you put your foot down harder, just so you can get more noise out of it - idiot.
All cars should have exhaust systems that the vast majority of citizens find acceptable.
Cars with big bore exhausts do not fit into this category. |

| Give it a rest cht. Didn't you test your boundries in your teens too? Teenagers have been cruising and poncing up their cars since the year dot, and I can't see that changing any time soon. The only real difference between the 50's and now; apart from the increased avalability of alcohol, is that their cars are gruntier and cheaper. |
