| Two toddlers recently run over by adults reversing out of driveways, tragically one killed. My heart aches for the drivers of these cars, what huge pain they must be feeling. It was only a few weeks ago, there was an item on TV showing just how quick children are, and how difficult it is to see behind most vehicles, so please everyone, make a point of looking behind your vehicle before reversing. |

| Tragic. Why oh why can't these parents look after their kids properly. Are they stoned all of the time, or just some of the time. Always it's the innocent that are the losers. |

My sympathies to these poor people. One thing I have learned is that a 2 year old can motor. Generally outrun a parent.
Kids will follow you and do so before others have noticed. If it is possible to fence off your driveway or anywhere there are vehicles it is a good idea, but even then it is best to check - I spent 4 years involved with the Play Centre Association and it is amazing how quick littlies are. |

| When our children were small we fenced the back section off as the garage was at the end of the long driveway. Toddlers are very quick and you need eyes in the back of your head for them. |
