OMG, if this happened to my wee dog I would be devasted. These councils just get it so wrong in so many instances, not just with dog pounds. Jeez, the poor lady needs a huge apology and the council should at the least buy her a new pet (if she wants one), and throw in dog chipping, and rego's for at least 5 years. Shame on the council.

it wasn't the council who put the dog down, was the contracting firm they use.
