| thank you ladray, your posts havent gone unoticed btw. a voice of reason amongst the ignorant. so xtr, you are now an expert on communism. one might ask why you defend the present system so vigorously then. unless, you yourself have more to lose than the magority if it were abolished. |

Just as the Police have decided to charge the man who flicked his Sons ear in Christchurch. Great news the Bradford / Clark bill will be gone by Lunch time. Helen will’try and defend not holding it with the Election but wont make her look very good.
A referendum will be held on anti-smacking laws after parliamentary officials confirmed a petition calling for the ballot had enough valid signatures.
The Clerk of the House said an audit of the petition found that 310,000 of the 390,000 signatures were valid.
This was 25,000 more than needed to trigger a referendum.
Petitioner Larry Baldock said the vote should be held in conjunction with the election.
The Government has ruled this out, saying it would best be held as a postal ballot next year. |

Who do you think you are ladray. You call other brainless, lol.
You talk about reason, Well we have put up with clarks reason for 9 years and we the tax payers are sick and tired of the taxes imposed by this socialist. Those ideals have well gone in the rest of the world, NZ is being left behind with the good people being over taxed so that woman can buy herway into the top job with her bed mate H2.
Even the Aussies think she is a fat heads.
I can't wait untill the elections and we get rid of this lot of social reformers, school teaches, union reps and bludges. |

Labourout or labrat what ever the hell your name I suggest you got to stop thinking in terms of how uneven it is between the sexs in favour of woman and get to the real cruxs of the issue.
Right Honourable Helen Her Majesty Clarke Has done everything in her power to keep New Zealand afloat from those days back in the 1983 when things first got tough.New Zealand does not have a population thats generates revenue for expenditure.
New Zealand is remote from the Economical Global Village.
New Zealand Does not Discover or uncover Products Both Scientifically/medically or technologically to trade on the world market.
New Zealand Pass Foreign Investment Policy really left us hung out to dry as off shore company set about there business like a funnel that we poured money into and ended up in some world economy bank never to be regurgitated let alone seen again by this country .
Helen Clarke is doing a sterling job aiding as many facalties, groups, sectors of society, sex, child, woman,a ged, ethnic and trying to make a level playing ground for everyone and all on a shoe string budget....Bottom line is the money is just not there why do you think we rely so heavily on tourism.....We are a peddler nation.
Furthermore under the same bugdet National is only going to look after one group - White Men |

Well said Charlie,
John Key reminds me of George Bush, being Prime Minister of NZ. is his next toy. He has no ideas of his own, he's relying on Bill English & his rich mates, especially some of his mates in Australia. Can you imagine Bill English holding the purse strings, he doesn't even look comfortable when he is with Keys, perhaps he leaked the tape himself to get himself off the hook with Keys, after all he still gets paid in opposition. |

| I distrust Helen for the same reasons I distrust John. Both lead parties that blatantly flout their disregard for the NZ people, the well being of New Zealanders and engage in ideological hole digging. I wonder which one will reach the molten core of the Earth first. |

kiwi_geofreak,
I agree,
Wouldn't it be great if all parties had to publish a constitution and a long term aim, as well as a commitment to stick to it. It is this manoeuvreing to get elected at any cost which depresses me:( |
