As I have said often in these threads is that I know Helen Clark to be a master politician. Its quite likely that she will win this election because her and her team are quite capable of making any opposition look silly.
However as I have also often said, being a master politician only gives you the bag of tricks to get elected, it takes people with technical know-how to run a country.
New Zealand shouldn't be hard to run, its smaller than most major cities in the world. All we need is a leadership who 1. are there to serve us the citizens of New Zealand, 2. Have the moderate capacity required to allow NZ to run competently. 3. Are not diverted into exchanging foolish political ploys in order to gain power. |

Well I hope you find it comical living another term under Comrade Helen, She will have the building Trade regulated to a stand-still. Still serve you right for building leaky homes and even considering using un-treated radiata in a NZ environment.
I bet you don't use any un-treated timber in your house. I wouldn't in mine either:) |

| The real problem with the ETS which Helen is trying push through the house today was clearly illustrated by a Farmer today. He cant get $25 per tonne for carbon. If he puts his whole farm into trees will make $250 k a year selling Carbon. So why not give up farming and grow trees none of us can eat carbon. What will happen to our primary industries? What will happen to World Food stocks? What will happen to World Food Prices. At the end of the day if they are pushed in a direction by the Government then that is the direction they will take. Watch our standard of living rapidly decline as this transition takes hold. |

She has told way too many lies and been way to corrupt to trust with anything. The country is sick of her (I was before she was elected first time).
The damage to our country will take generations to repair, if it hasn't gone too far already.
Shes not smart and she doesnt care.
A horrid nasty piece of work we will do well to be rid of. |

Jonky was born in Auckland and raised by his mother after his father died in 1967 - (his mother is Austrian-Jewish widowed which technically makes him Jewish which I didn't know). They lived in a state house in ChCh - so I'd hope he would recognise the importance of social housing but I doubt that somehow.
According to Wikipedia - he was Merrill Lynch's global head of foreign exchange, based in London, where he may have earned around US$2.25 million a year including bonuses, which is about $NZ5 million at 2001 exchange rates. ..co-workers called him "the smiling assassin" for maintaining his usual cheerfulness while sacking dozens (some say hundreds) of staff after heavy losses from the Russian financial crisis in 1998."
All good experience for heading a National led government I'd guess. |

| Here here that gets my vote...Helen is a politician first and foremost...National No way...They are a bunch of cowboys...at least we know Helen...No nasty surprises there devil in a red dress...National a bunch of cut throats led by beaurecrats...chasing their tales for National it is game over...This type of "indecisive behaviour" that National is exhibiting...will ensure great losses at the polls...People need to know the very least that the leader of the country is not a complete sap...Helen maybe a bit of a devil but shes got guts and she is no fool...Go Helen |

| I am very dissapointed in this current government, for many reasons, and will not be surprised if they do not get elected back in. One example only- education!! a few others but no point in expressing them. Arrogance and the ignorance in regards to practical solutions> do not give me krap either, this is my opinion. |

Well tommy onions you have opened this door. I hear you say that John Key must be bad because he is Jewish?
Well its true that Hitler and his followers did not like or trust Jews and hated them so badly that he lost WW2 because spent too much resource on murdering 6 million of them! But I tell you there were some other groups that he didn't trust as well and he did his best to rid the world of them as well. It appears from your anti semetic insinuations that you have forgotten or are ignoring the fact that that other group is running the country now.
If you want to play that card I suggest you be consistent.
Why don't you add up the number of this group who are in this government right now and have had a large influence in labour's social engineering experiment? And I think those policies are *** and self serving.
Of course the Civil Unions Bill could be why you support Helen so blindly:) |

| i trust to a certain point as my industry very union based and with labour in power can only keep fingers crossed they can fix what national did with the employers bill making it hard for the average people to make a honest go at a normal life instead of struggling every week |

What on earth made you draw that conclusion Xtr?
I find it interesting that John Key's mother is Jewish - especially an Austrian Jew as the *** s in Austria were very enthusiastic about dispatching their Jewish population to the death camps.
Seems to me that your observation of Jews in the current government could be seen as skirting the borders of anti-semitism.
Your snide remark about why I support Helen Clark is simply unworthy of you - and have I ever said that I support Helen Clark?
I find vicious, personalised attacks to be abhorrent - whoever they're aimed at. There's a new thread on Key being gay - just as abhorrent in my view. |
