Im 41, live in Tauranga, not an NZ First or Labour member, and frankly despise Labour, and support NZ First as a party for what they have achieved, rather than Winston Peters.

| Hi Trev. I wasn't arguing - just making a statement - your comments make you sound like a Helen and Winston supporter. Sure they both have done some things for their supporters, but its pretty naiive to think that any politician has retained any altruistic notions by the time they get to have any sort of power. By that time they've had to do some many deals and make so many promises that they are completely corrupted. Look at Nandor Tanktop - Leaves parliament for what he calls philosophical reason - isn't it a coincidence that he stayed just long enough to qualify for the lifetime parliamentary pension and other perks. |

I do not usually get into politics but there is some dirty dealing going on here & I do not think it is all from Winston's corner.I think Rodney Hide is being put up to this by the big boys. He has a lot of skeletons in his cupboard , but the media are not digging up stories about that are they? There is no doubt about it they are out to get Winston out of parliament.
Rodney is also hoping to score some points with National. Watching him in parliament yesterday, he is a real mean nasty piece of work.
I think there is more to it, I am waiting to see what happens at the next hearing, but that can't be fair either the Nats have already condemned him. |

Good on you Trev for speaking some things about Winston.
About time someone talk sense re: Vaovasamanaia Winton Peter.
I totally agree with you. It is sad when people ignor good things people done. Most people hear things about NZ First from the Media.
I read about Winstons service in Parliament. I am happy there are people who do not buy into this media nonsence.
I wrote him one time for assistance to my assignment when I was a student. He responded in time and gave information I needed for my marks. Amazing he did not know who I was but sent informatons and offer to help if needed more help.
The good things about Winston doesn't sell any papers.Its true Winston stepped on peoples toes sometimes, but that shouldn't be a reason to avoid the good things he'd done.
I agree Rodney is talking nonsense and always sounded like an empty tin when he talks. He looked so stupid in that yellow suit.His image has not improved even with loosing weight. Thats the only thing his done during his service in Parliament. Must be a cousin of that yellow suit Mask in the movie. I suggest he talk to Winston for dress up tips, and yeah he needs a hair cut or something if he is to improve his image. lol.WHAT DOES RODNEY HIDE DO BESIDES COLLETING DIRTS ON WINSTON. THAT SEEMS TO BE HIS ONLY DEDICATION AT THE MOMENT INSTEAD OF DOING SOMETHING USEFUL FOR HIS DISTRICT. |

WHAT DID RODNEY DO BESIDES DANCING?? (even that he looked stupid on the dance floor). My God if I can trust my life in his hand like his dancing partner will be a nightmare. Yeah dropping the dance partner on the floor I wonder if she can remember her name after Rodney dropped her in one of their move.
Rodney doesn't realise he is the only one singing bout Winston the time. It makes it look too obvious he is a parking dog of whoever is supplying him with the information. He kept saying in his argument someone gave him the information, I am surprise they are doing this process because Mr Yellow suit quote the information given to him.
Well Winston has a higher profile than any other Minister in Parliament. To add to his current position, he also got the PM position in his profile. And Rodney, even dancing he do not qualify or look like one.
Anyway, good on you Trev, I totally agree with you Mr Governor. Thats right pj.1934. Rodney is trying to score somepoint and try to look good in argument but sure look so stupid everytime he open his mouth. Everytime he opened his mouth, he gave away someone elses words. I knew that wasn't him arguing and you guys just confirm I am not the only one thinking these lines. Yeah he sounded more like someone elses thinking.

Can people tell me why they are so intent on ousting Hide when what he did was bring the knowledge to the people.
It's rather shallow they would attack his dress sense or his hair do or his weight loss.
Tell me would the people rather he said nothing so Winny's antics could carry on and the people can still be smiling in the deluded sense that all is well and Winny's doing a top job?
Personally I think that Hide should be thanked for bringing it to attention of the people (us). I for one would rather be informed. |
