About time parliament stands for what they suppose to be a leadership of a great little nation. Everytime you look at news and or papers the only thing you see is such and such have done that and such and such have done that. I
believe Winston Peters , stop hiding behind your native background and start
realise you are suppose to work for the people of New Zealand. If you as a private person having economical problems, join the club with the rest of us, your behaviour is not very inspiring and would set a trend for people to follow. Provided you are happy with that, fine, otherwise accept defeat and retire from politics, you have done enough damage up until today. |

| If helen Clark told Winston in February 2008 about Glen saying he donated $100,000.00, surely he would have checked with his lawyer or his brother at that point to find out. To now say that he first heard of the donation on the 18th July 2008 can not be true. |

Clark misled not only NZ, but Parliament and especially her MP's who all puppeted her line, having no idea that she knew all along.
Her Party and particularly her MP's will not forgive her.
Sometimes its about what you don't say, not what you do.
She was asked and declined to answer. Now Cullen is telling parliament that she was "too busy" to say. Really???
When she was asked, it would've taken less time to say YES and be HONEST, than say "it's not a question I could answer it is for NZ First".

| I find this absolutely hilarious. Here we have everyone jumping up and down and baying for blood for a piddling $100,000 when Messrs Fenwick and Beattie ,the directors of Hanmer Institute, misappropriated in or around $1,000,000 of taxpayers money to fund their own privately owned chain of Clinics. Funny thing is, had that money gone to Queen Mary resources and upgrades as it was intended it likely would never have had to close. Peoples priorities are really precious....LOL. Helen and Co have never asked those two for any of the money back,nor have they bothered to investigate it even though it was common knowledge to many! |

Yes inbound39 that is correct, the owners of the institute etc, were just let off, there should have been accountability, Hanmer provided essential services. How pathetic, double standards.
One of the main hospitals has just had much needed well over due installments made to a basic system in regards to communication, over 2 million dollars worth of upgrade.
The money that should have been used all those years ago , got lost in the hierarchy of the DHB of that city, that is pathetic also. |

The SFO has just announced that money from Sir Bob Jones and the Vela family "did not make their intended destination" and further, "that the financial records disclose matters of serious and complex fraud"

He's invoked his Statutory powers to allow the SFO to investigate. He doesn't do that without a very solid belief.

Funny that Mardale. On the evidence provided and tested in Court, it has been found that the NZ Police planted evidence in one matter and contrived evidence in the other.
I would have convicted neither.
I guess the Australian marketing company did it? Maybe Winnie should say "A dingo took the money".
