I have been a member of Greenpeace for probably 15 years. I regularly write to the Japanese government to ask them to stop whaling and to the NZ government and foreign ones about green issues.
I recycle, try to minimise petrol and electricity use and so on.
So I am a bit of a greeny.
There is NO WAY that I would vote for the Green Party. They have betrayed the green cause by their crazy position on other issues like this one. Lets hope that they disappear at election time and so green people can approach National or whoever, instead of being seen as loony whack jobs linked in with Sue Bradford.
We are being discredited by fools with and agenda. |

It's like everything in this PC world these days, folks; we're told our rights, but nobody is told their responsibilities as citizens, least of all children and youth. Sue Bradford fits into the PC category. I heard her response on television and I must say I'm ashamed to be a Green Party supporter. She's left me in a quandry as to who to support this election. I put her in the category of an interfering do-gooder that problem and streetwise kids know how to wrap around their grubby little fingers.
Just one more point. Could I ask some replying to please keep their comments clean! |

Then there is that reject Aussie at No2 in their party. Sent him back to the land of the Skippies, THey eat their nation animal there, Great place for Greens training.
Should ask him why so many houses burn down every year during the bush fires. I'll tell you why, he won't. Its because the greens will not allow the clearing of dead treees (fuel) away from houses etc. Dumb. |

Gosh, This is the first thread that I've read where everyone is in agreement.
I don't know what planet Bradford is on but I wish she would stay off this one.
My only problem with some of the posts is that, if we got rid of all our useless politicians, then who would be left to actually run the country?

| There is a place for a Green Party in NZ .But the people in this current one are total morons, their stupid policies which are so bloody ridiculous i would be embarrested to be associated with any of them .Who can name one thing of any good they have come up with.I can only think of Sue Kedgley and product of origin food labeling. |

normal people use smaking as a form of dicipline that has been taken away from us.
