| Yes it is very curious that muslims should want to come to a non muslim country - you would think they would stay where they are surrounded by like minded people of their own kind - I see Italia is going to ban mosque building as the long term residents who built the country are concerned they will be overun and imposed upon by calls to pray mosques etc... and like fair enuff, are Christians allowed to throw up all their churches in S/Arabia Iran etc etc? |

From what I have read good moslems have little or no influence on radicals.
According to "Infidels", by Ayaan hirsi Ali, Islamic society consists of tribes which are in a heirarchy with the most aggressive on the top and the most submissive on the bottom. |

though muslims in indonesia, tailand and africa are not arabic but as muslims they all consider their brotherhood and sisterhood in Islam first ..regardless of where teir from or what race they are ... |

jl -rafe.Radical clerics from Islamic school poison those native peoples minds.Christian lives in those countries that you mention but they dont demand their own states or be seperate from Muslims.If the koran is all about peace,then why are these Radical Clerics preaching violence and hatred.Are they following or reading a different Koran!!!Never hear or heard any christian preacher in this modern day preaching ,kill other non-christians in the name of god!.Look at those those Muslims,moderates and Radicals reacting to the cartoons. of MOHAMMED.

| Labour did have a Moslem MP, but he fell out of favour because he thought that the Quran was onto something when it advocated executing gay people. This was a bit upsetting because most of his cabinet colleagues were gay. |

I am not sure about that Ropativ. Look at Nigerias Miss World. It turned into a civil war and christian churches got burned because of the woman compete was a christian. How stupid that was, as miss world has nothing to do with religion. Anyway that is only one example but State and Religion is the two thing that can never go together. Keep watching born again christian Palin in Politics. How her faith becomes contradicted with politics. She either lie and do a good job been a politician or stick with her faith and speak the truth.
That is another part between us and Mulims, politics and faith are two things, and Mulims is the two intertwine. |

| I'm pleased that Helen (I know most of you hate her)stood firm and denounced the war in Iraq. I think we would be facing a scarier scenario in this country if we had not taken that stand. The yanks don't push this country around in spite of their threats and 'experts'.For this I am very proud. Our stance on Nuclear ships on our shores, war,religion & welfare have put us in an enviable position in the minds of many in this world. If we let this slip we would have wasted decades.Nz relates to Muslim because we don't (as a nation) lump all people into one group. |

| I was a child in England when the colour bar was lifted. Enoch Powell a politician at the time made many predictions and ALL have come true. He was labelled a racist at the time for his views. England has been damaged beyond repair and New Zealand is heading the same way. |

| jdyhrberg; all young people suffer from feelings of alienation, disillusionment etc. Most of us go through a vulnerable stage. If you're a young moslem a militant preacher can take full advantage of that. |
