I hear what you are saying and do understand the feeling of what might happen futuristically given the examples of situations that have indeed occurred overseas.. I look at it also from the perspective of Muslims who really and truly want to have a good life and want to merge into our way of life and indeed for these ones, as it is for anyone, change require time..Rome was not built in a day..
My question is..How does one move forward in this type of climate..especially you and me whose opinions are not valued by the government of the day..We can holler!!! at every Muslim on this thread... but what will that achieve..
nothing, other than perhaps creating a negative influence outside of Cyber that may work against us...Just an opinion... |

gam wilson,i respect your views so as all those who hope that Muslims will intergrate well with our society and within our laws and customs.Very few of these muslims will eventually and genuinely intergrate with us kiwis.Our customs and laws will eventually clash with ISLAM as the muslims population grows.
Just have a look at Auckland and you can see for yourself.Im not trying to scare anyone but try to point out a certain crisis looming as we move ahead.
Many countries are having a lot of problems with the muslims as their religion and cultures clash with those countries unless its a ISLAMIC country.
Theres no doubt that there are very genuine ,good moderate MULIMS but unfortunately,RADICALS comes from these moderate muslims families.
If the situation is not address NOW,then we will end up like Italy,Spain,France,Britai n ,Malaysia,Thailand and the list goes on.Pakistan cant control the Radical muslims so as India.
Australia is not far away so as our dear country NZ.
I love to say that it wont happen but i'll be dreaming if i say that!!! |

Well I definitely do agree with you Seanmicheals..I know we have alot of documented evidence of what has occurred..
It is getting much closer to home and the possibility of it happening here is very real..I guess we cant hide our heads under a carpet and pretend that it is not there... , What positive thing can we do about it as a nation or as a people..Got any ideas !!! I sure as hell dont.. |

Salâmu-'Alaikum Shahil. Thanks for your input and its understandable everyone including yourself wants a peaceful New Zealand. Your view is very important and the nature of this forum is not to add weight on one group.
I had 5 years spent with a lot of Muslim friends with a completely different ideas than mine. So thought to ask and have both groups share perspective. Your point shows that you feel the same as some of the New Zealand people. Welcome to this forum.
As for my friend Al_2022. Perhaps you should read all comments before you cast your judment. Assumptions is more uneducated. Read and learn something from both end rather than trying to speak for other people. As you can see Shahil is contributing more than you can. Reflecting people like you.

So solution ,In reality if we are to implement that which you have suggested there must be some process we may have to go through..yeah.. Just trying to undo what this government has put into place without asking for our input would be a a huge nightmare..The mind boggles..
lol!!!lol!!! I mean having a legislation passed that states..Interbreeding allowed but must not exceed 1%..lol!!..lol...China was able to do the one child thing..but NZ...Hey if we can talk the new government into doing that ..lol..lol..lol.. |

Thanks idy, you sure right. Fisk lived in the middle east long enough to warn the west about the consequences of what they are doing. The media should have a balance in what they screen and write. As people ended up pointing the finger without knowing exactly what the real issue is.
The west should stop looking east for oil and work hard to find better methods to produce oil from other sources. |

The problem we are facing is ,TOO MUCH OF THE POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.This will come back and bite us in our butts later.If someone speaks up about this problem,then it's a RACISTS thing.My fellow Kiwis,Islam is bringing to our SHORES cultures and laws that dont and wont suit our way of living.As their numbers grow,they WILL demand changes to our laws and cultures to suits theirs.THATS the problem and you know what happened if those changes are not implemented.....RADICALS will aspring up everywhere and our PEACE is gone forever!!!.Muslims as people are not the problem but the cultue and their religion dont suits our way of LIVING.

Well Gam, its a valid point, but I am afraid, sometimes its nothing to do with culture, religion or type of people. Perhaps sometimes the power of money can turn a well educated person into a radical idiot lol.
I am sure those Britain Muslim generation do not have full knowledge of their homelands issue, but attracted to the load of money offered by the extreme fanatics. |

| I used the word all.I have a sneaking suspicion there would not be as much conflict.Remember the IRA and how forgiving the world was...The poor Irish suffered for so long because of tolerance,when it was unbelievably bad for decades for the Irish.This Country shouldnt ever be a refuge for fundamentalists of any creed.Muslims seem happy here though and I enjoy them... |
