I feel Clint Richards best job would be as a defender as he is obviously good at playing the legal game.
However anything he does now is tainted with his history. The last thing we need is another parasitic lawyer of his repute advising youth on how to beat the rap!
Any organisation employing him would have thier own agenda and that would not include morals! |

| This guy was proven innocent in a court of law. Time the media left him alone to get on with his life. |

I agree with you taniwha40...Louise can talk to my kids about bravery and doing the right thing. Rickards can talk about being a bully, having no morals and how to avoid responsibility for your own actions.
You just need to look at his beligerent behaviour to see what type of a person he is.
Unfortunately a lot of men think this is ok. Its not! |

You are so right, I can see the headlines now "Excop, now lawyer gets his 10th, 50th, 100th, 1000th rapist off, and all the victims have had to pay. I hope where ever he sets up office that the community around him protest until he leaves or is sacked due to disrepute. |

taniwha...your right, half the issue is being able to admit when you have made a mistake. until then anything else is avoiding the issue. We ALL make mistakes, its how we deal with them and THEN make amends is what counts.
And yes Taniwha is a wonderful name, ignore the negatives :-). |

| Yep he deserves a job, but we are all judged on who we are and what we have done. What he did may not have been illegal but shows he is a person who takes advantage of the vulnerable and uses his position of power to meet his own desires. A job with no opportunities to repeat that behaviour is what he (and the rest of us) needs; used car salesman or real estate perhaps? |

| m.ellwood...would you let Louise 'advise' you kids on how NOT to let people into the house that you know can hurt you??? And then have sex with them and even invite your flatmate to join in the fun???? Lots of wrongs in this case. She is no role model. This is no black & white case. He was found innocent in OUR court of law. You think a lot of men think this way...I say 'some' men...the difference is in who you mix with i guess.(and then who you expose your kids to) |

Your exactly right. I would let her tell them what not to do and then how when something has gone bad or wrong that it is the courage and strength of a person that makes them act to rectify the situation and ensure it doesn't happen again. Even when you will be judged and have to fight all the way.
Who you mix with and what you choose to do are your decisions alone and you stand or fall by your choices. That is how people are judged.
The "justice" system Rickards used as he has always used it, and continues to try to use it, for his own ends.
We all judge individuals in our own way. He is not someone I would want to ever again see in any position of power. |

| I find it quite annoying that someone who can't even spell his name thinks that they should express an opinion. And its pretty rotten to call lawyers parasites when you all go rushing off to lawyers for your family trusts and your one-person companies and your other tax dodges. That kind of lawyer makes a lot more money than a poor sod working in youth court. (Perhaps you just call criminal lawyers parasites, and not a lawyer who gets you a profit out of one of those types of sham?) As for Clint Rickards, his conduct was very closely scrutinised and he was acquitted so get over it. How about you? Would your past stand up to the scrutiny of a criminal investigation? (And, if not, I presume you won't be wanting a lawyer.) People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones I reckon. |

| Interesting thing the "legal system". The accused can have what is considered prejudicial evidence withheld even if it may put a different light on their character however the victim is fair game. And a not guilty verdict just means that the charge wasn't proved beyond reasonable doubt. |
