Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used the *** term 'Judenrein' in a recent meeting with the German foreign minister to condemn the Palestinian demand that West Bank settlements be removed, a confidant of the premier has said.
"Judea and Samaria cannot be Judenrein," the confidant quoted the prime minister as telling Frank-Walter Steinmeier earlier this week.
Asked how Germany's top diplomat responded to hearing the term used by the *** s to refer to areas "cleansed of Jews", the confidant said, "What could he do? He basically just nodded."

According to the confidant, Netanyahu had encouraged cabinet colleagues to deploy the term in their defense of the settlements and of Israel's insistence that Palestinians recognize it as a Jewish state.
Israel is facing unprecedented U.S. pressure to dismantle settlements to make way for a Palestinian state in the West Bank, an area also known to Jews as Judea and Samaria.
Briefing foreign reporters last week, Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor urged them to ask whether "Palestinians would accept that Jews will live among them, or whether it is going to be totally not allowed".
"'Judenrein' is the term that was once used in other countries," Meridor said, in remarks echoed the next day by another Likud minister who briefed journalists and diplomats.
But some Israeli officials, including former ambassador to Washington Zalman Shoval, have expressed misgivings about using the term.
"I don't like to transfer the trappings of *** s to others, even if they are our enemies," Shoval said.
What was being branded as the Palestinians' bigotry, he said, could also be prudence about steps that might pre-judge disputes such as those over Palestinian refugees from Israel. |

A unilateral attack by Israel against Iran to thwart the Islamic republic's nuclear ambitions would be an "absolute catastrophe", French President Nicolas Sarkozy was quoted by AFP as saying on Thursday.
Sarkozy was speaking after a Group of Eight summit participated by other leaders in Italy, at which they agreed on the need to pursue a negotiated deal with Teheran in order to halt its nuclear program.
"Israel should know that it is not alone and look at all this calm. If I have fought so hard in the name of France to get people talking about Iran it's also a message to the Israelis that they are not alone," he said.
And we all know Netanyahu is far from calm....he's nuts! |

Four Jewish Defense League members were arrested on Wednesday, according to Agence France Presse, in connection to last week's attack on a Paris bookstore. Judicial officials were quoted in the report as saying that the shop is run by pro-Palestinian activists, and has fallen victim to several such attacks.

The JDL members, aged 16 to 26, allegedly entered the shop last Friday afternoon wearing masks, and proceeded to trash the store. According to the report, the four were armed with sticks and bottles of oil, and damaged computers, books, and the cash register.
AFP reported that following the incident, anti-racism group, MRAP called for a ban on the JDL.
The JDL, founded in 1968 by extremist Rabbi Meir Kahane, holds the stated goal of "protecting Jews from antisemitism by whatever means necessary."

There exists exemptions to the Third Convention for "High Contracting Parties" to this convention. In the case of a conflict between a signatory and a non-signatory the signatory shall remain bound until such time as the non-signatory no longer acts under the strictures of the convention.
(Art 2) "...Although one of the Powers in conflict may not be a party to the present Convention, the Powers who are parties thereto shall remain bound by it in their mutual relations. They shall furthermore be bound by the Convention in relation to the said Power, if the latter accepts and applies the provisions thereof."

| The most disturbing question requiring an answer from XTR is this. If we are not to feel disgust or revulsion for Israeli's, who according to the last poll fully support their government,and which it elected and its subsequent and previous actions,are we then to feel happy and joyous at the IDF's abilities of the wanton destruction of Gaza, its heinous treatment of Palestinians such as shooting submissive restrained palestinians in the feet at point blank range with rubber bullets? Are we to praise them and support them for shooting Palestinians who walk with white flags of surrender? Are we to praise and support them for beating seventy year old women with pick axe handles? Are we to praise and support them for shooting women and children at point blank range, killing whole families in front of the Palestinian male head of the household? Smashing teenagers hands with rifle butts who throw stones or even hacking their arms off with machetes? Do we run out on the streets shouting glory to God because they blockade Gaza thus starving innocent civilians of water, electricity, food and medical supplies and deny them building materials so they can get shelter? Does XTR expect us to feel nothing regarding the consensus of Israeli's who condone such acts as the above? Tell us XTR!
