Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
Iron Dome has not faced saturation attacks the likes Iran will mount and it failed to stop a qassam this morning. The devastation predicted that Israel will suffer will make recovery nigh on impossible for Israel......too many mutants after the chemical attacks and gas masks have still not been dispensed to the civilian population of Israel. You are talking through a hole in your head as usual Robaman...you simply want blood on the streets of Israel to satisfy your own sick needs.

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
Israel is happy to sacrifice thousands of its own people to retain settlements and maintain the occupation....that is what the Iranian attack is all about. Iran does not have a nuke and would not use it if it did. They are not stupid.

You are one sad puppy Inbound I will tell you what I want I don't want a nuclear weapon falling into the hands of a country like Iran. Funny that most of the World supports my feeling. They don't back the countries that back the terrorists like you. You have an over reactive sphincter muscle and verbal diarrhea to match it.

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
The World won't support Israel using nukes against Iran which means it can use only conventional weaponry. If it drops one nuke on Iran Israel will get dropped like a hot potato. Iran has a more legitimate nuclear program than Israels. No green light has been given to Israel to attack Iran. Negotiations and sanctions are what is on the table...not an attack, for obvious reasons. So don't blurt out on here utter bull that the World supports attacking Iran because it doesn't! Wipe the spit off your chin!

Israel has been corrected three or four times over the past month for trying to twist world perception by making false press statements. They have misquoted and misrepresented U.S intent. This is just another attempt to dodge out of the peace process and you know it Robaman....you simply don't have the cohonnes to admit it.

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
ASSISTANT SECRETARY CROWLEY: Well, I mean, obviously, as we’ve said here many times, we are very concerned with what has transpired. I think the Iranian people are very disappointed with what has transpired. This has clearly diverted the attention of the Iranian Government from offers of engagement, whether it’s through the P-5+1 process or other processes. You had the ministerial meeting in Trieste with an offer of Iran to join that meeting. They chose not to. So I think the answer is we just don’t know yet. The offer of engagement is still there because it’s in our interest to do so. We still have the same concerns we’ve long had about Iran, and we’re looking for a way to resolve those. And we’ll just have to wait and see, continue to see how this plays out. And if there’s a point in the future where Iran decides to move down the path that we’ve outlined, we’ll be willing to engage.

QUESTION: P.J., just to follow up on that, it wasn’t clear to me. Are you suggesting that the end of the year, although you guys didn’t want to call it a timetable, is indeed still operative, or is not?

ASSISTANT SECRETARY CROWLEY: I --

QUESTION: Let me tell you why I ask. Gary Samore said in London publicly earlier this week that, “I think if we really haven’t seen any significant progress by that time” – and in the previous sentence he referred to Obama’s comments on the end of the year – “I’m sure that the U.S. will rather work with the Europeans, with Russia and China, to try to increase pressure on them through the Security Council. We’re not there yet, and I think the Iranians need to understand that if this diplomatic opening, this window for engagement doesn’t produce any results, it’s just inevitable that they will face much stronger action in New York.”

So it just wasn’t clear to me whether you were trying to back away from the end of the year timeline or not.

ASSISTANT SECRETARY CROWLEY: Well, I don’t know. I ...

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
ASSISTANT SECRETARY CROWLEY: Well, I don’t know. I mean, first of all, on the end of what Gary said, I mean, we are not pursuing just one path. We continue to enforce existing sanctions. And I think the actions of the last few weeks have reminded a number of countries of the danger posed by Iran. And you do have a growing convergence that recognizes the concerns and the threat that Iran faces. So I think that there is a growing consensus with the international community about the issues that the United States has long outlined are concerns about Iran.

Obviously, how Iran responds to the offers of engagement will tell us a great deal. And I think we’re still at a period where if – we’re looking for a response, we’re looking to determine, if they respond, how, and who will be the interlocutor, in what form, on what subjects they appear to be prepared to engage. And – but as they answer these questions, if they’re able to answer these questions, it will give us a perspective. And as we go forward, we’ll understand fully – more fully what they’re prepared to do, and we’ll draw conclusions based on the response if and when it comes.

That is the most recent comments from the U.S.State Department Robaman...see any mention of sanctioning an attack in there....no.....it talks about negotiation, dialogue, sanc tions...NOT ATTACK.

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
The plan the US and EU,RUSSIA AND CHINA are working on incorporates a total blockade of Iran sanctioned by the UN and made into an enforceable Resolution. We have not got there yet. Should the blockade fail which is doubtful .....then an attack becomes the FINAL OPTION. Unless Israel upsets the applcart, jumps the gun and creates total chaos, which Israel loves doing when it is pressured about settlements and giving up Occupied Territory.

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
A new wave of damning testimonies by Israel Defense Forces soldiers who took part in the recent fighting in Gaza has unleashed a knee-jerk reaction from the already sensitive Israeli public. (Leading the charge was Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who on Wednesday demanded that all criticism in military matters be directed at him, not the soldiers.)

The testimonies were released by "Breaking the Silence," an organization of former soldiers who use personal experiences to illustrate what they perceive to be the folly of Israeli policies in the Palestinian territories. Once again, the organization has been singled out for rebuke.

The response to the testimonies was taken - admittedly very skillfully - in one very specific direction: the reliability of the witnesses and their betrayal of IDF and Israeli society as a whole.

The IDF Spokesman's Office dismissed Breaking the Silence as a private body focused on media manipulation. Kadima MK Otniel Schneller, a resident of the Maaleh Michmas settlement, demanded the anonymous soldier witnesses identify themselves. This demand took center stage in the efforts to discredit the troops who had spoken out.

It is getting predictable for the Israeli government and the IDF to dismiss any criticism of them as false...boring!

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
JERUSALEM (AFP) – Amnesty accused Israeli forces on Thursday of war crimes in Gaza, saying they used children as human shields and conducted wanton attacks on civilians, in a report rejected as "unbalanced" by Israel.

The London-based human rights group also accused Hamas of war crimes, but said it found no evidence to support Israeli claims that Gaza's Islamist rulers used civilians as human shields during Israel's massive 22-day offensive. But it said Palestinian armed groups fired hundreds of rockets into southern Israel which "constitute war crimes."

Hamas sharply criticised the report.

"It falsely accuses Hamas while playing down the seriousness of the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation," Sami Abu Zuhri, a spokesman for the Islamist movement.

"It puts the executioner and the victim on the same footing," he said.

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
Another moron who cant handle the facts.

The most disturbing question requiring an answer from XTR is this. If we are not to feel disgust or revulsion for Israeli's, who according to the last poll fully support their government, and which it elected and its subsequent and previous actions, are we then to feel happy and joyous at the IDF's abilities of the wanton destruction of Gaza, its heinous treatment of Palestinians such as shooting submissive restrained palestinians in the feet at point blank range with rubber bullets? Are we to praise them and support them for shooting Palestinians who walk with white flags of surrender? Are we to praise and support them for beating seventy year old women with pick axe handles? Are we to praise and support them for shooting women and children at point blank range, killing whole families in front of the Palestinian male head of the household? Smashing teenagers hands with rifle butts who throw stones or even hacking their arms off with machetes? Do we run out on the streets shouting glory to God because they blockade Gaza thus starving innocent civilians of water, electricity, food and medical supplies and deny them building materials so they can get shelter? Does XTR expect us to feel nothing regarding the consensus of Israeli's who condone such acts as the above? Tell us XTR365! PLEASE EXPLAIN YOURSELF.How are we supposed to feel according to your intellectually superior thinking?"

Re:Hamas.....Two State Solution continue ...
Iron Dome is so effective it cannot stop simple qassams let alone sophisticated Iranian long range missiles....

After a month-long lull in Israel's southern towns, militants in the Gaza Strip fired a Qassam rocket into the western Negev Thursday evening. The rocket struck an open area near Sdot Negev at around 8 P.M. No one was hurt.

The last time a rocket struck Israeli soil was June 13. That rocket also struck an open area in the same region. No one was hurt in the incident.

10 police officers hurt as Jerusalem riots continue into the night
By Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondent, and Haaretz Service
Tags: Israel News, Jerusalem

Riots in Jerusalem over the recent arrest of an ultra-Orthodox woman suspected of starving her 3-year-old son escalated as demonstrators concluded their third consecutive day of violent protests with no indication that they were planning to ease up.

So far ten police officers have been lightly hurt by stone throwers. Three of them were taken to the emergency room at Hadassah hospital after sustaining head injuries. All in all, hundreds of police officers participated in the dispersal efforts, including officers called up from other districts. 20 demonstrators were detained for questioning.

Meanwhile another group embraces Hamas........

Anti-Zionist Jews meet with Hamas leader in Gaza
By The Associated Press
Tags: israel news, neturei karta

Representatives of the anti-Zionist, ultra-Orthodox Neturei Karta sect paid a brief visit on Thursday to militantly anti-Israel Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip.

The group arrived in Gaza Wednesday night, marking the first time envoys from the tiny ultra-Orthodox sect have come to Gaza since Hamas seized control in June 2007.

The sect denounces Israel's existence and traditionally embraces its enemies - including Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, whom Neturei Karta members famously hugged at a Holocaust denial conference in December 2006.

Four sect representatives from the U.S. sat down with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Thursday, after crossing into the territory through Egypt the night before with dozens of other pro-Palestinian activists. Israel, which maintains a strict blockade of Gaza, would not let them cross through its passages with the territory.

"We feel your suffering, we cry your cry," said Rabbi Yisroel Weiss upon arriving Wednesday night.

During their Thursday meeting, Haniyeh told them he held no grudge against Jews, but against the state of Israel, according to a Hamas web site.
