| The problem with people like JJ is this his position is idealogical. He is a communist he looks at everything from a communist point of view, He doesnt believe in democracy still wishes the Berlin wall to be up and the falied communist experiment continuing.He most of all hates peopl to have freedom freedom is such a dirty word to him. He would like us all to be in drab gey pants and tops with little slip on shoes bowing to some communist crooked leader. Freedom is a horible thing communist love control,control of the education system,control of the people by welfare, control of the country by owning every business,control of what we read no religion etc. I find it fascinating when JJ criticises others ,and yet he believes in such a chequered past. |

* 49% think British people who insult Islam should be arrested and prosecuted

* Only 29% of Muslims believe the Holocaust happened as history teaches it
* 45% of British Muslims believe 9/11 was a conspiracy between Israel and the USA, with only 20% saying it was not a conspiracy

* 56% say there is no truth at all to the idea Islam treats women as second class citizens

Israeli settlers on horseback set fire on Monday to at least 1,500 Palestinian-owned olive trees in the West Bank as others stoned cars, a
Palestinian security official said.
The incident occurred hours after security forces razed a number of structures built in unauthorized outposts in the West Bank.

Two Palestinian motorists were lightly wounded and five vehicles damaged near the settlement of Yitzhar, outside the Palestinian town of Nablus, said the official, Ghassan Daglas.
He said 10 settlers riding horses and carrying torches set fire to between 1,500 and 2,000 olive trees. Olives are an important cash crop for Palestinians, who have complained of frequent attacks on their groves by settlers.
The violence is part of a "price tag" policy in which settlers retaliate to the outpost removals by harassing local Palestinians.

'Quick outpost evacuation will push settlers to extremes'

Rightist politicians warned on Tuesday that a plan by the Israel Defense Forces and the police to evacuate all illegal West Bank outposts in a single day would lead to "extreme" public strife and division.
As reported by Haaretz, the security authorities are in the midst of preparations for a lightning-quick evacuation of 23 unauthorized settler outposts, though the exact date of the operation has been kept secret by defense officials.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government committed to removing the outposts as part of an American-led drive to renew Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations. Outpost removal is also one of the tasks which Israel agreed to undertake as part of the road map peace plan.

National Union MK Aryeh Eldad told Army Radio that the evacuation of outposts is liable to lead to bloodshed and civil strife. "News of this kind could push the settlers to extreme actions," Eldad warned. "The members of the coalition will also have to open up a front against the prime minister." |

Likud MK Danny Danon said the planned evacuation would be "very bad."
"I don't believe that a Likud government headed by Netanyahu would lend its hand to a mass evacuation of Jewish settlers," Danon said. The lawmaker added that the government should engage settler leaders through dialogue in an effort to reach an accommodation on the issue of unauthorized outposts.
Another Likud MK, Tzipi Hotoveli, also called for talks with the settlers. "This step [of forcible evacuation] cannot be done outside the framework of a comprehensive plan for the unfreezing of construction in Judea and Samaria," said Hotoveli, invoking the biblical names which are used to refer to the West Bank.
"We've become accustomed to the fact that from every destruction and ruin we build ourselves up, and from all the bad things that have befallen Jewish settlement in the past, the people of Israel built itself and progressed," National Union MK Ya'akov Katz said.
"We do not despair because out of all these expulsions we grow stronger, and the fact of the matter is that we have 350 thousand Jews in Judea and Samaria," Katz said. "We are seeing the birth of Jews, thank God, and we do not despair nor do we panic." |
