We support the Obama Peace plan and the ending of Israels occupation and settlements which are illegal. We support the formation of a Palestinian State.......so we post Jewish news reports pertaining to those issues and the pertinent UN stance and International law. |

Syria has supplied the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah with about a quarter of its *** nal of middle- and long-range missiles, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Jarida on Thursday quoted Israeli security sources as saying.
According to the report, the sources said since Syria does not wish to enter into a direct conflict with Israel, it is using Hezbollah and the Palestinian militant group Hamas as proxies to harass it.

According to Thursday's report in Al Jarida, Iranian and Syrian officers are training Hezbollah guerillas in how to fire the new missiles, and how to operate Russian- and Chinese-made early warning radar stations in Lebanon. The system has reportedly also undergone Iranian development.
During the 2006 Second Lebanon War, Hezbollah launched nearly 4,000 missiles into Israel, killing dozens of Israelis and causing significant damage. |

Elior Chen is set to be extradited to Israel from Brazil in the next few weeks, Channel 1 reported on Thursday, signaling an end to the long legal battle over the fate of the suspected ringleader in one of the worst child abuse cases in Israeli history.

According to the TV channel, the Justice Ministry in Brasilia has already signed the extradition order.
Chen, a self-styled rabbi, allegedly influenced members of his flock to abuse their children in order to "correct their corrupt souls."
His alleged crimes became known after two brothers, one three years old and the other four-and-a-half, were rushed to hospital on March 12, 2008 after suffering from abuse. The younger child suffered severe brain damage and has not recovered. The older one, who was admitted with burns, was released three weeks later.
Their mother was indicted for the crime. It emerged that she belonged to a cult led by Chen, who, after the affair became public, fled first to Canada and later to Brazil.
After a search of several weeks, Israeli authorities discovered that Chen was hiding in Sao Paolo. On April 23, 2008, Israel asked the Brazilian authorities to arrest and hold him so it could file a formal request for his extradition.
It took more than one month to locate him and he was arrested on June 3, 2008. He decided to resist his extradition. |

Israel has warned that endorsement of the Goldstone report, which would send the document onto UN bodies in New York for further action, risks undermining Middle East peace.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay told the 47-member council that she supported the report's recommendations, "including its call for urgent action to counter impunity" - meaning that Israel and Hamas must investigate and prosecute those who committed war crimes.
Pillay said it was necessary for both sides "to carry out impartial, independent, prompt, and effective investigations into reported violations of human rights and humanitarian law" as recommended by the report.
Pillay said holding war criminals accountable and respect for human rights "are not obstacles to peace, but rather the preconditions on which trust and, ultimately, a durable peace can be built." |

There is no this-worldliness for those who have no faith
Those who wish to live their life without religion
Have made annihilation the equivalent of life. |

there a ot more to come , but any one can already claerly see that hamas is fundamental and formost ISLAMIC .its goals being the goals of islam and its involvement in the Palestinian issue is merely another means to their desired end .
this was made evident back when israel offer to withdraw from 95 % of all the areas the Palestinians were asking for and that offer was turned down .If they had accepted the offer they would have little justification for continuing in the pursuit of the annihilation if israel .. which remains their openly declared goal . |
